Project ABAKADA KA! (Anolingan Basa Alang sa Kahibalo ug Dakong Kalambuan Nimo)

Amidst the pandemic situation in which face to face classes we’re not allowed, the school make ways to
reach out the school children and help them develop their reading level. Thus, through the Brigada Pagbasa initiated y the
Division of Agusan Del Sur, the Anolingan Integrated School launched its school reading program. The Project
ABAKADA KA! (Anolingan Basa Alang sa Kahibalo ug Dakong Kalambuan Nimo). Its main goal is to help the school
children develop their reading capabilities even though they’re not allowed for face to face classes in the classroom. One of
the salient feature of the project is putting up a community reading center. During the launching on November 18, 2021.
barangay officials were invited to share with the responsibilities in conducting the reading activities. During also the
launching, the barangay officials promised to sponsor an amount for the prices of the performing reading center. The
barangay officials, Anolingan Teaching staff and the PTA officials signed a memorandum of agreement to sealed the
support of each other. To encourage the parents to support the said project, a showcase of reading materials were displayed
during the launching.

The launching activity we’re successfully done with the collaborative effort of the reading program
coordinators, Anolingan IS teaching staff, PTA officials and parents.
