Creative English Video Competition

Rules and Regulations

1. This competition is open to all pupils in SJKC Ijok.


2. Participants participate in categories according to their Year.
3. Participants are required to make a video on one of the given topics.
4. Length of the video should not be less than 2 minutes and should not be longer than 5
minutes.
5. Participants will mostly be judged by how well they accomplish the task and their ability
to speak.
6. Editing is allowed, but shouldn’t be excessive. No subtitles.
7. The video can be in any common format.
8. Submit the videos to Google Classroom BEFORE 29 July 2022, 11.59 p.m., with the
video name ‘name_class_task type.mp4’. Eg: ‘Amy_1K_taskA.mp4’
9. There can be other people in the video too, but the focus should be on the participant.
10. The competition starts on the 1st of July and ends on 29th of July.
11. Any videos done for previous lessons are not allowed.
12. There will be first, second and third place winners for each Year.
13. Some of the tasks given require you to ‘teach’. It depends on participants’ creativity to do it.
14. The topics for each Year are the following:
