REPORTS AND NATIONAL AWARDING FOR THE BEST
‘SCHOOL IMPLEMENTERS
DATE : May 17, 2022
The Department of Education (DepEd), through its External Partnerships Service
(EPS), in partnership with the Junior Chamber International (JCI) Senate Philippines,
announces the 2022 Project W.AT.C.H. (We Advocate Time Consciousness and
Honesty} implementation. This year’s theme: ‘Working Towards a Culture of
Integrity through Honesty and Time Consciousness” is aligned with the major goal
of the W.A.T.C.H. program to push forward the recognition of punctuality and honesty
as the two core values in promoting renewal and development.
‘The same mechanics from DepEd Memorandum No. 073, s. 2021 titled Submission of
W.A.T.C.H. Club and other W.A.T.C.H Reports and National Awarding for the Best
School Implementers will be adopted. The following specific provisions are adopted
for this year’s implementation:
1. All W.A.T.C.H. implementers shall include the logos of Project W.A.T.C.H.,
DepEd, and JCI Senate Philippines in all their activities and marketing
collaterals, including backdrops, posters, among other materials.
2. All W.A.T.C.H. advocates are enjoined to adopt another school. The adoptive

‘The adoptive school and the adopted school shall execute a document
mentioning the adoption and shall be signed by the school heads of both
schools as the adoptive school and adopted school respectively. A special award
shalll be given to the top three (3) adoptive schools.
3. An award shalll be given to the top three (3) New Implementers. A school,
which had joined in the previous selections for the National Search for the
Outstanding W.A.T.C.H. Schools but had not participated in any selection
after 2016 may qualify for this award.
In addition, all W.A.T.C.H. advocates and implementers are encouraged to have an
Honesty Store or any project with the same concept. This aims to teach learners the
importance of honesty by allowing them to buy and pay through an honesty system by
dropping their payment into a container. This practice will instill honesty as a habit,
which will eventually become a virtue that will shape the character of the learners.
DepEd, together with the JCI Senate Philippines, has set the schedule of activities for
the 2022 W.A.T.C.H. implementation as follows:
