The researchers are currently developing the capstone project entitled “Trialect: A


Mobile-Based Mother Tongue Translator Application for Sta. Rosa Elementary
Students.” The researcher’s motivation in developing this kind of technology is to
help grades 1-3 students who are currently enrolled in the subject of mother
tongue and also the teachers. This application was created to help students and
teachers comprehend the Ilocano dialect more easily.

During the Capstone 1 defense, the panels required the researchers to have the list
for the system to validate users upon registration who will be using the system. In
this regard, the researchers humbly request the approval of your good office to
allow the researchers to have the list of all grades 1-3 students names. Rest
assured that the data provided will serve as a guide for the development of the
application and will only be used to improve the project. Any information provided
to the researchers will be treated with the utmost confidentiality, and the
participant’s privacy will be secured.

of data will be conducted through an interview and distribution of survey tools to

B. Assesment and Activities


1. It is very important to know the numbers of grades 1 to 3 students in Santa
Rosa Elementary School. Why? To have a hint on how many learning
materials should be prepared. Also, it is very essential to know the total
numbers of each grade for the learning materials to be prepared and for it to
suit for each grade.
2. Gender-sensitive learning materials is very essential. That's why it is very
important to know the numbers of boys and girls.
3. Knowing the scheduled date for the distribution of learning materials is
important to lessen the possibilities of having a late delivery.

C. Standard procedure in the language translation process


1. Accuracy
Words should be translated with accuracy. Meaning, it shouldn't be hard for
them to search for the meaning of the unfamiliar words that they're looking
for.
