Abstract

The development of a rocket motor tube structure is a primary demand to enhance mission
performance in the aerospace field. The work investigated the influence of wall thickness, cap
thickness, and fillet radius on the structural strength and weight optimization of rocket motor tube
using finite element Ansys software. A total of 12 finite elements developed models using Aluminium
7001-T6 subjected to internal operation pressure load were developed. In this work, the developed
models using the wall thickness of 8 and 10 mm, the cap thickness of 50 and 75 mm, and the fillet
radius of 50, 75, and 100 mm were comprehensively compared. The selection of the most optimum
developed model was based on the minimum required safety factor with the lightest structural
weight. It can be concluded that the finite element optimization simulation revealed that the increase
in fillet radius is more recommended than the increase in wall thickness and cap thickness. It can be
found that model code 0850100 was the most optimum developed rocket motor case using wall
thickness, cap thickness, and fillet radius of 8, 50, and 100 mm, respectively.

Abstract

The paper examines the effect of cylinder length on the rocket motor tube's safety factor and weight
ratio using a thin-walled cylinder. The outer diameter, wall thickness, cap thickness, and cylinder fillet
radius were 550, 8, 50, and 100 mm, respectively. The length of the cylinder was varied 3, 3.5, 4, 4.5,
and 5 meters. The internal pressure used is fixed, which is 12 MPa. The materials used are Aluminium
7068-T6 and Aluminium 7034-T6. Stress analysis using the finite element method with Ansys
Workbench software to select the optimal length of the rocket motor tube in terms of the safety factors
and tube weight ratio. The simulation results show that the longer the rocket tube, the lower the safety
factor ratio and the weight of the rocket tube both when using Al 7068-T6 and Al 7034-T6 materials.
The highest ratio value is when the rocket tube has a length of 3 meters using Al 7034-T6 material.

Abstract

As one of the new provinces in Indonesia, West Papua Province needs the infrastructures for
supporting its development, including electrical infrastructures. In this paper, system dynamics
modeling has been built to investigate the readiness of electrical infrastructure, especially electricity
generation, in facing the energy demand by the growth of population and other sectors in West
Papua Province. The models have met the absolute mean error (AME) standard of validation. The
simulation of the Business as Usual (BAU) model shows that the generation units are supported well
in normal condition until 2050. In case no additional installed capacity for the generation units, the
existing units may not support the population and energy growth by 2043 and 2047 in the designed
scenarios simulation. The lack of capacity is due to the upwards of energy demand in 2050, about
5012.09 GWh in scenario 1 and 7406.98 GWh in scenario 2, which is significantly increasing from
5012.09 GWh in BAU.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic impacting all areas, including vocational music education research.
Vocational music education research needs to look for new innovations so that research can still be
done with quality results. This paper tries to discuss research innovations on the figure of Indonesian
music maestro Idris Sardi through digital ethnography methods. This research is a qualitative
research with a narrative approach. Collecting data by direct face-to-face interviews is very risky for
virus transmission, especially the informants lived in Jakarta and West Java, provinces with a fairly
high level of virus spread. Innovative interviews with informants using virtual ethnographic methods
via zoom or googlemeet, google form media, WhatsApp video call, email and telephone. The results
of the innovation using the digital ethnography method are that the data needed to answer research
questions can be obtained by researchers quite completely, the data can be recorded clearly and field
notes can be made according to the natural conditions in the recorded data. All data that has been
collected then analyzed so that the research process did not stop with the pandemic.

Abstract

The main factor causing congestion at the port is the long waiting time for ships to load and unload
goods. The duration of loading and unloading of goods is influenced by the way the goods are
arranged so that they can be easily picked up on time. Good arrangement can avoid Long Hatches or
delays in loading and unloading of goods due to cargo that should be unloaded at a port being
crushed by the cargo for the next port. The Stowage Plan is a description of information regarding the
cargo arrangement plan on the ship which shows a side view (plan) and a top view (profile) of the
location of the cargo, the amount of cargo, and the weight of the cargo in the hold according to the
consignment mark for each destination port. The purpose of this research is to build a software design
to determine the appropriate stowage plan for the arrangement of containers on the transport ship.
The hope is that a stowage plan can be produced which will have an impact on the faster loading and
unloading process of goods but will not disturb the stability of the transport ships.

Abstract

Learning Media of mobile augmented reality-based electrical measurement tools is a technology that
can help teacher and student work together in the learning process how to use electrical
measurement tools correctly. As a learning aid, development of mobile AR-based electrical
measurement tools helps a student to interact and make simulation use of tools virtually with phones
that have been designed to resemble the actual form. AR technology can be used anywhere and
anytime with the help of smartphones. This technology uses mobile phones or smartphones to
enhance its utility such as cameras and sensors, so this AR-based does not use marker but using
ground plane detection methods. This method will detect horizontal surfaces in the environment,
such as floors and tabletops so virtual media can place it like real. Into the development of this
application must go through several stages before it is ready for use. Functional testing becomes
important to see the compatibility of the application against the hardware. The test results show that
this application can run on almost all smartphone devices.

Abstract

Motorized vehicle components, especially those that operate at high temperatures, are often prone
to corrosion. This can result in the appearance of the product being less attractive, noise pollution and
damage to the vehicle engine. Therefore, it is necessary to control corrosion on these components
with the right method and affordable costs that can save expenses, especially during a pandemic.
One of the methods is by using nickel-chrom metal plating. Previous research has discussed about
nickel-chrom plating on steel but the corrosion rate is still relatively high. Therefore, this research
aims to reduce the corrosion rate of vehicle components using real ambient temperature conditions.
This study used a variation of the coating time of 30, 40.50 minutes. The coating specimens were
given heating treatment and then tested for corrosion using the potentiodynamic method. The results
showed that the use of nickel-chrom plating on motorized vehicle components could prevent
corrosion. Nickel-chrom plating with a time of 50 minutes produces the most optimal corrosion
behavior, namely 0.0000909 mmpy at a cost of IDR 20,000-30,000 per component. The results of
this study will later be useful for the community to take advantage of this alternative to protect vehicle
components at low prices during a pandemic.

Abstract

Work safety is an essential aspect that must be seriously paid attention to. However, this issue is often
ignored in Indonesia due to many factors, especially its implementation in small and medium scale
industries. Accordingly, a more structured and applicable risk assessment is strongly necessary. This
study aims to introduce occupational risk assessment integrating the traditional approach and multi-
criteria decision-making (MCDM) technique. A case study in the medium-sized furniture
manufacturer situated in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, is selected involving three decision-makers (DMs),
who are: senior staff, head of the production section, and certified occupational health and safety
(OHS) expert. The traditional risk assessment method is proposed to identify and analyze the risks,
whilst the best-worst method (BWM) is developed to determine the best control strategies. The result
indicates that there are five critical risks of 12 occupational risks that have been considered. Then,
based on the controls’ optimal weights screened using the α-cut value, the control personal protective
equipment (PE) is the best control to reduce all critical risks followed by administrative controls (AC)
and engineering controls (EC). Meanwhile, the AC is effectively recommended to mitigate chemical
risks. Meanwhile, the AC is effectively recommended to mitigate chemical risks. Despite the
understandable decision-making process, further study is encouraged to consider the hazard risks
such as biological and psychosocial risks to lead broader discussion.

Abstract

Many studies on supplier selection decision making have been carried out with various multi-criteria
decision-making (MCDM) approaches as the decision influences a company’s overall performance.
However, an organization is still facing difficulty to find the right solution with regard to supplier
selection problem (SSP) with multiple items due to fewer studies. Accordingly, the purpose of this
study is to evaluate suppliers under a multi-item environment using the AHP method. The decision-
making model is demonstrated in an Indonesian garment industry. There are six experts invited in
this study to define 21 factors for selecting the best supplier for four items as parts of printing
accessories materials. The factors are broken down from six criteria namely quality, price, delivery,
flexibility, document, and relation. The result indicates that the second supplier is the most
performing supplier to serve all items, while only one supplier (the first supplier) which has the
closest production capability as the second supplier. This study brings some recommendations based
on the suppliers’ scores obtained in order to apply a more effective improvement. Besides, this paper
has also provided an initial model for further modified SSP cases.

Abstract

The Yogyakarta International Airport (YIA) was built to expand flight capacity due to limited capacity
at Adisucipto Airport. The underpass structure is needed to anticipate traffic jams to YIA Airport due
to the existing road above it. Underpass is a transverse road under another road that is built
underground and in the form of a tunnel. The purpose of this study is to analyse the stability of the
underpass structure based on analytical and 3D numerical solutions.

The stability analysis of the underpass retaining wall is performed by manual calculation based on
static and dynamic loads. Underpass stability analysis was also conducted based on numeral
simulations using Rockscience 3 (RS3) software. The data is based on drilling tests in three locations
namely the BH 06, BH 10 and BH 11 drill points. BH 06 drill point is on the edge of underpass,
precisely at the underpass entrance from Yogyakarta direction; BH 10 represents the zone in the
middle of the underpass and BH 11 is on the edge of the underpass.

The results of the analysis of safety factor against shearing and turning forces due to static and
dynamic loads at all points of view showed SF values above the criteria, making them safe for shearing
and turning stabilities. Based on 3D numerical simulations on static and dynamic loadings, the result
of the settlement occurred at the points of view in the range of 23-35 mm. This value is well under
the required maximum limit of 51 – 76 mm.

Abstract

The high level of open unemployment, which is dominated by university and vocational education
graduates, proves the low interest and competence of students in entrepreneurship. This paper aims
to describe the analysis of the need for the use of a learning media management system based on
digipreneur (digital entrepreneur) to improve student entrepreneurial competence in the field of
technology and vocational education, especially at Universitas Negeri Padang. This research uses a
research and development approach with 3 stages, namely: Phase I requires analysis and design of
the model, Phase II develops with validity and practicality, and Phase III will implement the model
while in this study will only focus on stage I, namely the analysis of the needs for use. learning media
management system based on a digital entrepreneur to improve entrepreneurial competence in
vocational education. The research was conducted using a needs analysis model with a data collection
instrument in the form of a questionnaire taken by random sampling from 87 students in Universitas
Negeri Padang to describe the mismatch between the current conditions and the expectations of
higher education for the competence of graduates in entrepreneurship courses. 96.55% of students
stated the need to develop a special learning model, namely a digipreneur based learning model to
improve the entrepreneurial competence of vocational engineering education students, namely by
combining LMS with an entrepreneurial system in the form of e-commerce. Based on this needs
analysis data, it can be seen that there is a need to develop a learning media in the form of a digital

Abstract

The world is currently facing the Covid-19 pandemic. As an anticipatory measure, temperature
screening needs to be placed at the entry point of public locations. In addition to facilitate the tracing
process, if there are positive confirmed cases of Covid-19, recording people who enter the venue is
necessary. This study designed a prototype for face recording and body temperature measurement.
This prototype uses two primary sensors and two support sensors. The primary sensors are ESP32-
CAM for recording visitors’ faces and MLX90614 for temperature measurement. Meanwhile, the
support sensors are the ultrasonic sensor HC-SR04 in the circuit box for measuring the precise
distance of visitors for face and temperature recording and a light-dependent resistor (LDR) sensor
outside the box for detecting the presence of visitors. For control, NodeMCU ESP8266 and internal
microcontroller ESP32-CAM are used. Temperature and face capture data sent to the user’s Telegram
Messenger and MySQL database. The prototype is also equipped with body temperature screening.
If the temperature is > 37.2 ℃, visitors are not allowed to enter the venue, and there are warning
messages via buzzers and Telegram Messenger users. All data have been successfully sent without
any problems and following the program flow.

Abstract

This study focuses on using a CsI(Tl) detector for imaging in the planar scintigraphy imaging
technique. CsI(Tl) detectors offer affordable, power-efficient, compact, and portable measurements
because they use compact electronic components. In this study, the radiation beam is captured by a
CsI(Tl) scintillation detector given a lead (Pb) collimator with a thickness of 2 mm and a collimator
hole with a diameter of 2 mm. The result of testing the efficiency value is 2.07%. This detector is stable
based on the chi-square test value on 10 measurements. The chi-square value is 6.919 (in the range
of 3.325 – 16.919). The ideal measurement distance between the detector and the test object is less
than 2 cm. For planar imaging, the Cs-137 source was placed on an acrylic phantom measuring
70×70 mm2. From the imaging results, the average percentage error on the x-axis center, y-axis
center, and area of the source is 3.73%, 3.23%, and 4.71%, respectively, with an overall average error
percentage of 3.89%.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to show the process of calculating the DIVAYANA formula in
obtaining alternatives that were the most dominant positive and negative imbalances supporting the
effectiveness of the flipped learning implementation. Imbalance data in the flipped learning
implementation refers to the Daiwi Sampad and Asuri Sampad concepts. Positive imbalance refers to
the Daiwi Sampad concept, while negative imbalance refers to the Asuri Sampad concept. The method
used in this research was the simulation method of calculating the DIVAYANA formula in the
evaluation process of flipped learning. The value of imbalance was obtained from the difference
between the percentage of the respondents’ assessment and the percentage of the effectiveness
standards. A total of 20 respondents were involved in conducting an assessment to obtain the
percentage of respondents’ assessments. A total of four experts were involved in determining the
percentage of effectiveness standards. The tools used to obtain the results of the respondents’
assessment and the percentage of effectiveness standards were questionnaires. This research was
conducted at several IT vocational schools in Bali. The technique used to analyze the simulation results
of the DIVAYANA formula calculation was by comparing the categorization of effectiveness based on
the five’s scale with the percentage results of the effectiveness level of using that formula. The results
of this research indicate the effectiveness of the DIVAYANA formula to determine which alternatives
were the most dominant positive and negative imbalances in the flipped learning implementation.

Abstract

The movement of water on porous media will be influenced by the material on the pore walls. The
hydrophilic and hydrophobic properties of the walls will affect fluid infiltration in porous media. The
hydrophilic nature will cause water to move quickly and increase infiltration. Meanwhile, the
hydrophobic nature will hold water, thereby reducing infiltration. This is caused by the intermolecular
force from the pore walls to the water. In hydrophilic materials, the molecules have high polarity,
causing water to pool on the surface. Meanwhile, hydrophobic molecules have low polarity, causing
water to clump together on the surface.

Abstract
This paper proposes measuring the physical and mental workload in a bakery where the human factor
significantly influences the entire bread-making process. The significant use of human labor in the
production process brings some drawbacks, including the increasing physical and mental workload
and a high-temperature workspace. This study evaluates the physical and mental workload of bread
makers in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, to formulate proper recommendations to improve the working
environment depending on the typical working activities. The physical workload is calculated using
the cardiovascular load method (CVL), while the Rating Scale Mental Effort (RSME) measures mental
workload. The materials include the dataset containing the type of activities, the worker’s heart rate,
and the RSME questionnaire reflecting the worker’s mental conditions. The result indicates three
types of activities that are required to be improved, namely baking, cutting, and flavoring. Then, some
treatments can be proposed for the baking activities, such as keeping the distance of workers when
the oven is not operating, providing drinking water, increasing the time-off frequency, changing the
working procedures, and worker’s postures. Lastly, increasing time-off, providing supportive tools,
and improving working postures can also be applied to cutting and flavoring activities.

Abstract

The thread joints are often used to connect a rocket tube to a cap and a rocket tube to a nozzle. The
connection of two components using a thread joint needs to be considered carefully. The joint is the
part that most often fails because it is the location of the stress concentration. The study aims to
examine the effect of load variations and thread types on the joint strength between the cap and
rocket tube using the finite element method. The analysis was carried out with the help of the Ansys
Workbench software. Loads of thread joint was varied 70, 80, 90, 100, and 110 kN. The rocket cap
and tube material are Al 6061-T6. Static stress simulation results show that the thread joints both
square thread and trapezoidal threads can withstand static loads of up to 100 kN because it has a
safety factor of more than 1.25. The trapezoidal thread has a better safety factor than the square
thread.

Abstract

Mammography is an one of early examination to detect the presence of breast cancer. In this research,
mammography image quality was improved by reducing the degree of gray and noise and
segmenting the image to clarify the cancer area. A total of 7 digital mammography images were used
with different types of tissue classifications derived from the database on the Kaggle.com website and
processing was carried out using the Python programming language. The first step is to improve the
quality of mammography images with the Anisotropic Diffusion method. Then testing the results of
image quality improvement will be carried out by calculating the value of Mean Square Error (MSE)
and Peak Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR). In addition to improving image quality, this research also
carried out image segmentation, image segmentation process using 2 methods are Otsu and
multilevel Otsu. Meanwhile, testing the results of image segmentation will be carried out by
calculating the Miclassified Area Mutual Overlap (MMO) value from manual segmentation and
automatic segmentation. The test results of image quality improvement obtained good values where
the MSE is getting closer to 0 and the PSNR value has reached 30 dB using a kappa value of 40 and
a gamma of 0.005. The results of segmentation testing using the Otsu method, the images that pass
the segmentation test are images with classifications of circumscribed, architectural, spiculated and
ill-defined masses. The results of segmentation testing using Otsu's multilevel method on
asymmetry, calcification and ill-defined masses of image classification in each class variant have
passed the segmentation test.

Abstract

The level of accuracy for the movement of the motor used determines the movement of a robot. If the
motor and GRBL do not match, the robot's movement will endanger both the product and the
machine operator. The goal of this research is to find the quickest way to calibrate the travel resolution
stepper motor machine of a CNC (computer numerically control)-based Batik robot running GRBL
firmware. The method used in this study is Parallel Throwaway Prototyping, which consists of several
direct experiments with the machine made. This research conclude that the basic movement of the
robot has three types of travel resolution: radial, axial, and rotary; In radial and axial types, the
number of travel resolutions is calculated by dividing the number of steps by the value of the shift
distance of one revolution; and in rotary types, it is calculated by dividing the number of steps of one
rotation by the degree of rotation angle. The findings of this study suggest that we should pay
attention to the error of the stepper motor or the belt and lead screw because it can affect the precision
of the stepper motor movement.

Abstract

Due to the low ability of students, the Indonesian government is working on HOTS-based
exam questions. The HOTS-based national exam results show that students could only answer simple
questions, yet they were taught using the HOTS approach. This study explores the HOTS learning
knowledge of Indonesian students before and during learning. Knowledge is reviewed based on four
aspects, including factual, conceptual, procedural, and metacognitive. Each aspect is reviewed with
4C criteria that involve critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication. Furthermore,
the study uses the survey method and aims to improve students' higher-order thinking skills. The
sample was selected using random cluster sampling of 2560 students, while data was collected using
questionnaires. The results show that the average knowledge of students is 2.9. Specifically, 0.12%
of students stated that they do not know the HOTS-Based approach, 6.09% know enough, 54.65%
know, and 39.14% know very much. This study shows that students' involvement in learning HOTS
in class is not satisfactory due to the lack of knowledge.

Abstract

Temperature is the main factor influencing the performance of asphaltic mixtures of pavement layers
such as ACWC (Asphaltic Concrete of Wearing Course), ACBC (Asphaltic Concrete of Binder Course) as
well as AC Base (Asphaltic Concrete of Base Course). At low temperature, such kinds of the mixture
would be stiff and brittle while at a high temperature they would be soft and follow the viscoelastic
behavior. At low temperature, these mixtures have high crack susceptibility, while at a high
temperature they are easy to experience permanent deformation. This research is to learn further the
effects of temperature changes on the resilient modulus of ACWC, ACBC and AC Base mixtures. The
research was carried out in the laboratory by using equipment called Universal Material Testing
Apparatus (UMATTA). This sort of equipment purposes to test the resilient modulus of a mixture
sample. The results show that the increase of testing temperature will decrease the resilient modulus
of the mixtures significantly as 76.44% for ACWC, 78.20% for ACBC, and 76.20% for AC Base

outbreak to spread widely to various regions. The spread of the COVID-19 pandemic has had an
impact on various aspects of human life. Based on data from the Balikpapan City COVID-19 Task Force,
it was identified a significant increase in cases of the COVID-19 pandemic, where at the beginning of
the pandemic there were 6 cases on March 23, 2020 and on February 26, 2021 there were 8,990
positive cases of COVID-19 in Balikpapan City. These conditions indicate that the spread of infectious
diseases can be viewed geographically. Therefore, a geospatial-based analysis needs to be carried out
to analyze and understand the transmission of COVID-19, as well as detect areas at risk of exposure
to COVID-19 in Balikpapan City. The purpose of this study was to determine the spatial distribution
pattern of the COVID-19 pandemic in Balikpapan City in the period March 2020 – February 2021. The
analytical method used in this study was spatial analysis using a hot spot analysis tool with ord gi*
statistics. The results showed that Balikpapan City has a varied distribution pattern for the COVID-19
pandemic, namely 4 sub-districts units in the hot spot category and 1 sub-districts unit in the cold
spot category. This grouping occurs because it is influenced by neighborhood aspects.

Abstract

The synergy between industry and educational institutions must be maintained in order to advance
education in Indonesia. To strengthen the synergy between industry and educational institutions, the
government launched the Freedom to Learn-Independent Campus program through the Ministry of
Education, Culture, Research, and Technology. However, there are still numerous challenges to be
overcome in practice. One of them is the condition that existed during the Covid 19 pandemic. In
such cases, technology is one of the solutions that can be used to ensure that the educational process
runs smoothly. This study is a descriptive study based on a literature review. Selecting topics,
exploring, determining research focus, determining data sources, reading library sources, collecting
research data, processing research note data, and compiling research results comprised the research
design. Editing, organizing, and finding data are some of the data collection techniques employed.
Interpretive and deductive analysis are the data analysis techniques used. The findings are as follows:
1) The relevance of industry needs and graduate competencies is critical for each educational
institution to improve the quality of graduates. The more relevant the industry's needs are to the
graduates' competencies, the more likely it is that they will be able to work well. 2) Industry
involvement is very important in this freedom to learn-independent campus program. This is because
industry is one of the places to focus on developing student competencies for a minimum period of
6 months or more. 3) The role of technology is one of the solutions to answer the challenges of
education and the learning process during the pandemic. In this case, technology is divided into 3
aspects, namely information technology, educational technology, and tool/machine technology.

Abstract

The colored glass beads are ancient heirlooms that cannot be traced back their ages for the Paiwan group
(Rukai and Paiwan), and they are also important possessions and collections between tribal leaders and
noble families. Due to the implementation of the Aborigine controlling policy (1895-1915) and till to the
assimilation education in the mid-term (1916-1937) during the period of Japanese colonial rule in Taiwan,
the traditional social structure and cultural activities within the tribe had gradually became static as a result
of external interference. The glass beads were originally collected in private and then the glass beads had
disappeared as they were forced to turn over to the authority. For Christians had introduced into the tribes
in 1950, the traditional cultural rituals were not recovered even the regime had been transferred after World
War II. Umas Zingrur from Paiwan tribe had initiated the research and development of the revitalization on
the production of the glass beads and then the beads have handed down widely among the Paiwan tribes.
This research is a longitudinal field study. The new generations have the possibility to develop the creation
and entrepreneurship, as well as collaborating the tribal culture with business. Therefore, the tribal culture
can be established the circulated and sustainable economic benefits, accompanied by the inheritance and
continuation of tribal culture to achieve the purpose of sustainable technology and education research.

Abstract

Teaching and learning have shifted from synchronous meetings in the classroom and laboratory to
virtual synchronous and asynchronous meetings. Teaching and learning can take place anytime and
anywhere. The availability of ICT infrastructure is one of the supporting factors for teaching and
learning in today's Education 4.0. This article describes the availability of ICT facilities to support
blended learning. Accidental sampling was conducted on 56 lecturers of the Faculty of Engineering,
Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY), who participated in a webinar and filled out polls. The polls
revealed that nearly 72% of respondents had subscribed to Internet Service Providers and cellular
data packages. Total respondents who own laptops or PCs with Intel Core i3 / AMD Ryzen 3 processor
specifications were only 23%, yet a mere 4% still own lower processors specifications. Cloud-based
software provided by UNY, such as Microsoft 365, was only used by 46% of respondents. The
availability of facilities to support virtual synchronous meetings included headset 96%, Zoom
educational license 86%, and interactive application 18%. In contrast, facilities to support
asynchronous meetings were owned only by less than 60% of respondents, including condenser or
clip-on microphone types, graphic pads, video editing software, screen recording software, and
project management software. Facilities to support collaborative asynchronous activities such as
Google Workspace were applied by 66% of respondents. The availability of ICT facilities supporting
teaching and learning is an indicator of readiness for Education 4.0, and this study shows it needs to
be improved.

Abstract

Electrical engineering jobs require a competent workforce. For this reason, it is necessary to have the
means to conduct a competency test for electricians. One of the important aspects in the competency
test is the knowledge aspect which in the test takes a long time so that it saturates the test participants.
This article will discuss the design and implementation of an electrician's competency test on the
knowledge aspect by using an adaptive test. The development method consists of 4 stages, namely
1) needs analysis, 2) system design, 3) adaptive competency test system development, and 4) system
testing. The results showed that the competency test of electricians in the knowledge aspect could be
done with an adaptive test. Adaptive tests are able to produce up to 98% accuracy compared to
manual tests, so they are feasible to be developed and implemented.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the chemical composition, color, and acceptance of gluten-
free dried brown rice noodles among panelists. Water, ash, protein, fat, carbs, soluble dietary fiber,
and insoluble dietary fiber were all tested for chemical composition. A tristimulus photoelectric
colorimeter was used to assess color. The acceptance of panelists was assessed. Color, scent, taste,
texture, and overall were evaluated by 50 untrained panelists on a scale of 1-9 for many sensory
qualities. Gluten-free dried brown rice noodles had higher protein, fiber, and resistant starch content
than commercial white rice noodles, according to the findings (control). The color test revealed that
the higher the proportion of brown rice, the lower the brightness level. The brown rice noodle
formulation I, received the best response from the panelists based on sensory analysis. Brown rice
noodles outperform commercial white rice noodles (control) in terms of protein content (6.59±0.16)
and fiber (6.17±0.01). 6.72±0.03 for starch resistance and 0.17±0.02 for low fat. Based on the
findings of this study, gluten-free brown rice noodles may be an alternative functional carbohydrate
source.

Abstract

The raw material for yarn used in the manufacture of Bima woven fabric is yarn that has been colored
using synthetic dyes. Synthetic dyes have more diverse colors, do not fade easily, are easy to produce,
the fabric dyeing process is easier and the cost is cheap. However, synthetic dyes are carcinogenic and
harmful to the environment, thereby reducing their artistic value and exotic side. Synthetic dyes
contain compounds that are not easily degraded by the environment. The activities of woven yarn
coloring using areca fruit can improve the quality of woven fabrics. natural dye woven yarn products
from areca fruit extract have a bright red color on alum fixation, black color on tunjung fixation, and
pale red color on lime fixation. There is a change in the behavior of partner groups in the use of
science and technology to produce woven fabrics based on natural dyes.

Abstract

Moodle, being one of the most widely used Learning Management Systems in Indonesian
educational institutions, has a plethora of capabilities that support continuous assessment and
remote learning in general. However, this conventional one-way learning medium has some
disadvantages, including a lack of mobility and a monotonous engagement with the learning path.
On the other hand, the rapid growth of chatbots as educational media enables more mobility and a
more customized learning path. Additionally, one of the most significant challenges of distance
learning is motivating students. Therefore, a gamification technique is commonly chosen to cope with
this challenge. In Moodle, gamification can be easily implemented with additional plugins like
LevelUp. Nevertheless, the development of gamification on chatbots for learning media is still
limited. Hence, this article presents the realization of an interactive chatbot with gamification to
support the Digital Transformation course during distance learning. The chatbot features developed
in this research are an announcement menu, course information, class registration, course materials,
quizzes, learning progress, a leader board, and a final test.
