BG-DWG-2019-022, erected with cuplok, unit beam , tube & fittings.

DESIGN CRITERIA ( LOADING PLATFORM )

Live load = 800kg = 7.8kN consider 8.0kN


Board Weight = 0.25kN/m²
Tube & Fitting Weight = 0.10kN/m²
Unit beam spacing = 0.90m c/c
Factor of Safety = 100%
Transom Spacing = 0.40 c/c
Total load weight = 8.0kN x 2 = 16kN/ 4-wheel trolley = 4.0kN

Checking Point Load on Boards…

= 4.0kN/m x 0.40m = 0.40kNm < 0.468 kNm - OK

Allowable BM on Board = 0.468kNm

Checking Point Load on Tube Transom…

= 4.0kN x 0.90m = 0.90kNm < 1.0 kNm - OK

Allowable BM on Tube = 1.0kNm

Checking Unit beam

Total load weight on unit beam = (0.25kN/m² + 0.20kN/m²) x 0.90m x 1.50% = 0.60kN/m²
Point load = 4.0kN @ 6.72m
= 4.0kN @ 5.72m

Max BM = 23.9kN.m < 27.7kN.m – OK

Allowable UNIT BEAM BM = 27.7kNm

Max Reaction = 16.5kN < 20.0 kN – OK

Allowable UNIT BEAM REACTION = 20.0 kN
