Reflection
- Philosophy is an activity people engage in when they try to understand
basic truths about themselves, the world in which they live, and their
relationships to the world and to each other, and a Philosopher is a person
who is an expert in philosophy, according to what I learned from this
activity. Philosophers include people such as Socrates, Plato, and
Aristotle.

Learning Activity Sheet 2
THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HOLISTIC
PERSPECTIVE FROM A PARTIAL POINT OF VIEW

Activity 1:

Holistic Perspective
1. I met my younger brother in the playground while picking him up from
school, and I was too stunned to approach him because I noticed him and
one of his classmate fighting, so I went right up to them and asked both of
their reasons for fighting.
2. My cousin and I were arguing about a movie we were watching when
my aunt came up behind us and saw us quarreling, so she asked me what
was going on and then she asked my cousin's half of the issue.
3. While we are working on our business plan, two of my members have
differing opinions about what product we should market, so as a leader, I
ask both of them to give me a brief but engaging presentation of why I
and the other members should choose your product.

Partial Perspective
1. When I was in grade 10, I was assigned to be the C.A.T facilitator, and
the coordinator assigned us to clean the barracks. I became upset and
scolded my classmates because I believed it was they who had scattered
all of the trash at the school's barracks. Then the facilitator of the other
section came out and admitted that it was his members who had scattered
the trash.
2. My father's side decided to have a lunch party at our house, then after
eating, my cousins and I decided to play dodgeball, so while playing, my
cousin kicked the ball so hard that it broke the window, and my mother
came up to me and accused me of breaking the window, even though it
was my cousin who did it.
3. I became upset and shouted at my younger brother, who was in my
room, for scattering my painting materials that I had laid out on the floor
for me to begin painting, not realizing that it was my dog who had done
it.

Reflection
- Being holistic is who I am as whenever I'm involved in a situation, I still
ask everyone what the details are or what happened before I express an
opinion or respond so that the matter can be resolved more quickly.
Before accusing people, it is preferable to have enough information.

Brother Bahala Na

Reflection:
- There will always be times in our lives when we must face challenges,
but the real challenge will be how we develop and mature from it. My life
has been filled with numerous, stressful ups and downs, but I believe I
have not only overcome these obstacles, but also used them to grow as a
person. My life's goal is to live a meaningful existence; it's what keeps
me motivated and how I determine myself. 'How do I live a full and
meaningful life?' I've been asking myself. For me, living a meaningful
life means achieving my ambitions and enjoying life with myself.

Obtaining a Broad Perspective on Life

Activity

Reflection
- Being a student was the most amazing journey, and I've had some of the
best memories of my life. Being halfway through my senior year has
made me consider my choices for the future. As I look forward to my
future, I can't help but think about how I'll get there. Even if the way
appears to be unclear, there will surely be numerous difficulties to face.
An accountant is the career that most interests me. For this position, I will
need a bachelor's degree in accounting with a minimum of four years of
experience.
