1.0 Purpose

To ensure machinery and equipment is maintained and repaired according to the standard
requirements.
2.0 Scope

This procedure covers all machinery and equipment subject to repairs and maintenance by Techold
Engineering.

3.0 Responsibility

3.1 Day to day execution - the Engineering team (Technicians Artisans and Engineers)
3.2 The overall responsibility - Engineering Manager/Managing Director.

4.0 Activity Description


4.1 Pre-Assessments-Ensure that all safety proceedings are carried out before any work as required.
4.2 Work execution
4.2.1 During work execution ensure that the all machine/equipment safety and operational functions
are not altered to compromise the safety requirements.
4.2.2 Carry out repairs or maintenance as required by the Planned or Breakdown procedures (Refer to
relevant documents for detail).
4.2.3 Report all potential failures to the relevant personnel Techold Management and Clients’
Management for rectification.
4.3 Post Maintenance
4.3.1 Ensure all workplaces are cleaned before signing off.
4.3.2 Carryout proper Handover takeover with relevant personnel.

4.4 A Job is deemed complete once a Handover takeover is done as required.
