The lesson plan outlines activities for students to identify the main functions of the brain by having them complete tasks involving memory, problem-solving, reaction time, and sensory perception. The activities are designed to demonstrate that the brain controls thinking, memory, movement, and ensures vital functions like breathing and heart rate. Students will then explain that the brain coordinates many important bodily activities and processes.
