Summer Class PTA Resolution

The Parent-Teacher-Community Association of Masantol High School held a meeting to discuss students who are at risk of failing courses this school year. They passed a resolution requesting that the school administrator allow summer classes to be held from April 15 to May 26 for students failing no more than two subjects. The summer classes would be taught by volunteer teachers and students would pay a 500 peso fee per subject to cover materials and teacher honorariums. The resolution was unanimously approved to help students at risk of failing complete their education and avoid costly private summer school tuition.

ASSOCIATION HELD ON MARCH 28, 2018 AT MASANTOL HIGH SCHOOL, BEBE ANAC,
MASANTOL, PAMPANGA.

PTCA Resolution No. 3 of 2018

A resolution requesting the school administrator to conduct SUMMER CLASSES for the
students who will fail in not more than two learning areas this school year 2017-2018 despite the
educational interventions given by the subject teachers, and it will requisites to complete their basic
quality education.

WHEREAS, the PTA Officers and Members of the above stated school convene to resolve the annual
problems of the parents with their flunking students who will enrolling in private schools for their
summer class that having a high tuition fee imposed by the private schools;

WHEREAS, the gravity of the situation calls for a prompt action from the body, so as to solve this
problem by requesting the office of the Division of Pampanga through the school administrator for an
approval to conduct SUMMER CLASS in the school (Masantol High School) from April 15, 2018 to May
26, 2018.

WHEREAS, PTA Officers sees it deemed necessary to request to have teachers in different learning
areas to handles the enrollees in SUMMER CLASS wherein it is beyond their duties;

WHEREAS, enrolling students in the summer class shall pay a minimum fee of P500.00 per subject to
be used for the reproduction of learning materials and teachers’ honoraria;

WHEREAS, the PTA officers will take charge of the collection and payment of honoraria and
reproduction of learning materials while the school head shall be responsible on the designation of the
teacher and administration of classes accordingly;

WHEREAS, the body deemed it necessary to APPROVE this measures, and duly seconded and
agreed by all officers and members.

Be it RESOLVE, as it is hereby RESOLVED that this WRIT takes effect immediately upon affixing the
signatures of the PTA President and the PTA Secretary.

ACTION Taken: UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED
