offer a India and it was designed in 2014
by the Form4 Architecture practice to
offer a Contemporary workplace that is a
landmark contrasting the countryside
with a view of the river and nearby fields.
The complex spreads over a surface of four million square feet and has a
geometric structure inspired from the white lotus which is the national flower
of India. Four petals are arranged as a four-leaf clover with an open space in the
center.
LOCATION:
The I.T park is Located in the
seventh largest metropolis in
India, Falling Lotus Blossoms:
EON IT Park is an elegantly
arranged quartet of buildings,
The site located in the EON Free
Zone, a Special Economic Zone
established by the government
to encourage development.
DESIGN CONCEPT:
Form4 Architecture began the design as different iterations
of the petal shape from India’s national flower, the white
lotus. Ultimately, four “petals” were arranged like a four-leaf
clover in plan with an open space at its center. In part, a
response to the extreme heat and humidity and the goal of
populating the outdoor spaces for more than just a few
months of the year, the buildings themselves contain semi-
conditioned shaded atrium spaces that serve as meeting or
gathering areas for the building occupants.
SITE PLAN:
FLOOR PLANS:
Each building is a G+7 storey structure where every Floor plate houses 4
independent office wings with 3 connecting cores and angular double glazed
façade.
AREA:
, site-45 acres; building area-400000 Sq ft
CONSTRUCTION PHASE:
The cluster of four buildings each as a petal is arranged as a four-leaf clover with
an open space in the center. Each building is a G+7 storey structure where every
loor plate houses 4 independent office wings with 3 connecting cores and
angular double glazed façade. The contours on site were utilized for sectional
displacement of parking and other amenities and creating pleasant pockets of
landscapes. The roof which is the most fascinating element derives its shape
from the cross-section of thenautilus curving in all 3 planes making it the most
challenging construction using the standing seam technology.
MATERIAL:
The Double-Glazed High-Performance Glass
Walls High Solar Reflective Index (SRI)
Materials are Used to Cover 100% of the
Roof Area 75.60 per cent of the total
project’s materials, by cost, were
manufactured within 500 miles of the
project site. Among the materials sourced
regionally are bricks, cement, fire-proof doors, pozzocrete, steel, metal sheet
roofing, glass, dry wall, and false ceiling.
CONCLUSION:
Too much glass used in building almost 60% increasing innovation activity of
existing businesses and the dynamics of the emergence of new innovative
companies; better cooperation between business, science, education and
government in order to create a competitive scientific and technological
groundwork for the introduction of breakthrough innovations The building is
designed to accommodate the small firms.
