Read about hotels in Chicago.

Chicago hotels
The Palmer House Hilton Hotel
The Loop, Chicago, Illinois
This 1,639-room historic hotel in the Loop has
a storied past, and a breathtaking lobby with a
painted ceiling and glittering chandeliers. But room
quality is uneven—some rooms still have dated
décor and tube TVs, and all the extra fees can add
up. This beautiful hotel has a huge fitness center,
and free Wi-Fi in the lobby. You can also do on-site
shopping. But if you are looking for a budget hotel,
this is not the best one. You have to pay a daily
fee for Wi-Fi, fitness center, and business center.

The Waldorf Astoria Chicago

Gold Coast, Chicago, Illinois

This hotel offers top-of the line luxury in Chicago.

It’s not huge but it has all the amenities of a large
hotel—the 188-room Waldorf caters to leisure and
business travelers. Sleek rooms feature neutral tones,
contemporary furnishings, and gorgeous marble
bathrooms that offer separate showers and soaking
tubs, as well as TVs in set in the mirrors. Highlights
include the upscale restaurant Balsan, a top-notch spa,
and health club with extensive services and an indoor
lap pool. Plus, the hotel’s location in the swanky Gold
Coast neighborhood puts it within walking distances
of upscale shops, restaurants and attractions.
