Welcome Note Good evening everyone, NITIE is delighted to introduce the Ved Prakash Goyal

memorial lecture series on entrepreneurship & innovation lecture series 5 . Under the aegis
of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, an initiative of the Government of India to celebrate and
commemorate 75 years of progressive India, NITIE Mumbai has started a bi-weekly talk
series, “Ved Prakash Goyal Memorial Lecture Series on Innovation and Entrepreneurship.”
The purpose of this talk series will be to develop the vast untapped entrepreneurial potential
of the students of NITIE to contribute to the overall development of the Indian start-up
ecosystem, fuelled by the spirit of Atmanirbhar Bharat

E-Cell The Entrepreneurship cell at NITIE nurtures an ecosystem that promotes the untapped
entrepreneurial potential of the students who can contribute to the overall development of
the nation. It ignites entrepreneurial spirit among the young minds of the college and
provides a platform for interaction with entrepreneurs, investors and business leaders. It
facilitates the availability of resources to achieve their entrepreneurial aspirations and
collaborate with parallel bodies of other B-schools and seek tie ups with profit and non-profit
organizations.

We are pleased to welcome our proud alumni, Mr Maxson Lewis founder & MD of Magenta
Mobility, An Integrated electric mobility, EV charging, and technology platform which aims to
revolutionize and aggregate the urban freight & transportation segment both for employee
transport and last-mile deliveries across the country with its state-of-the-art technology-
enabled vehicle and and Mr Sachin Sharma Founder of 1K Kirana Bazaar, India's first network
of small-sized modern format grocery stores for India's next billion consumers.1K Kirana
Bazaar organizes the non-urban retail ecosystem by aggregating kiranas and help them in
meeting consumer aspirations. They will be sharing their entrepreneurial journey.
