Meha:Thank you Shyam Sir for such a lovely introduction!

Namaste,Bonjour,Ahlan Bika

I Meha Ganesh along with Akash Edwin of grade 11th standing in front of you as hosts of this
programme on behalf of this institution.It is an honor to stand in front of esteemed people and at
this prestigious stage.
I convey warm words of welcome to our Chief Guest Sameer Sir, Principal Ma'am Dipika Thapar
Singh,Vice Principal Sir Shivendra Bhardhwaj,Coordinators,our HODs, teachers,parents, and
you friends, whom we bid goodbye .

Akash: It's time to say “good-bye”,


Your year has come to an end.
You have made some cherished memories
With all your pre-school friends.

We have watched each other learn and grow


And change from day to day,
We hope that all the things we have done
will help you along the way.

So it is with happy memories,


You all go out the door,
With great hope and expectations
What next year holds in store.

Today, you may smile or even cry. But forgetting these memories, you dare not try . (smile when you

say the last 4 words)

We wish to make this day a memorable one for all you lovely people. Without much ado, let us

begin this day.


Akash: Morgan Freeman once said “ When I was a teenager , I settled into school because I
would discover activities that interest me:music and theater.” Which means ,hadn't he been
inspired ,we wouldn't have had such a pioneer in cinemas.
Akash:By the time I reach the end of grade 12, I wonder if I would resemble the character Raju
Rastogi from The Three Idiots to get through the year.

Meha:Don't worry silly ! Our seniors have given us a great example of doing their responsibility
with ease.As far as guidance from the divine is concerned, we all need it at some point.so let us
hear Hanan and Yasir recite a Quran verse to the audience followed by a citation prayer read by
Sai Murari.

Meha:Thank you Hanan, Yasir and Sai.With immense honor I address our chief guest for the
day ,who is the Managing Director of Jaleel Holdings and is the Director of Credence High
School,Mr.Sameer k Mohammad, sir we thank you for gracing this occasion with your presence,
we are delighted to have your here.

We now request our honorable Principal and CEO Ms. Dipika Thapar Singh to address the
gathering and to give her valuable inputs to the students of our school who are aspiring to be
like her. You have motivated people by being a living example, by sharing your expertise and
knowledge, we are sure, the parents over here also will be motivated.

Akash:Thank you so much ma'am for your heartening words ,now may I call upon our
classmates,that is ,grade 11 to sing a song to bid farewell in a melodious way.

Meha: Thank you for such an exhilarating performance my dear mates.This juncture reminds
me of a quote by Hellen Keller, she once said “So long as the memory of certain beloved friends
lives in my heart, I shall say that life is good.”

Akash: (giggle) The quote is so on point Meha! Memories are the best things that you hold on
to, hence we have a short video of all the good memories amassed ,of our seniors as gist of
their time spent here in our institution.May we have the video played please?

Meha: AAh…. This was truly heartwarming.Thank you Fizaan and Aryan for assembling such an
impeccable video for our audience.

Akash: I must say the juniors have put their heart out for this farewell,right Meha?
Akash: No doubt about that!Not only the 11th graders ,but even the 6 to 8 graders have
prepared themselves for this special occasion. So may I please call them upon stage to
showcase a dance performance!

Meha: This was an immaculate performance! Thank you so much ,you all made our day .
Akash: Also I congratulate the dance squad for their dazzling performance and lighting the
stage with their happy feet. Meha,looking at the audience it reminds me of a beautiful quote by
Mathew Jacobson

“Behind every young child who believes in himself is a parent who believed first”

These words are so very true aren't they….?

Meha:Surely they are Akash.We can see so many parents sitting here and enjoying this
delighted moment. This journey would not have been attainable without our dear parents who
played an inevitable role all along.I take this occasion to welcome
Parent of Faadhil of G12B to share their experience with the Credence family.

Akash: “Education is not the filling of a pail,but the lighting of a fire.”

Meha:These words sound tailor-made for this day don't they?.With great excitement I announce
that the moment we all have been anxiously waiting for has arrived ,The graduation scroll
handing ceremony.Just notice how happy and thrilled our seniors look.To initiate this event I call
upon our chief guest along with our principal to present the citation for our graduates.Welcome
Sir and Maam.Now I Invite two familiar faces for all of us,class teachers of grade 12 A and B,our
lovely Ms. Rhea and Ms. Arushi to call upon the young graduates to receive their citation. Our
seniors are requested to accompany their parents as their names are called upon to light the
lamp and accept their scrolls as a token of appreciation.

(Rhea Ma'am would call the child’s name , another teacher would have the lamp ready to light .)

Akash:Light symbolizes brightness and prosperity. It removes the forces of darkness


and gives us positivity. In the spiritual word, light means life. So, we can also think of
light as giving us new direction in life. With this noble thought, we thank you all as this truly
is a very proud moment for all of us.
Thank you dear parents, thank you sir, thank you ma'am !

Akash. Meha would you like to hear one of my favorite quotes of all time?
Meha:Sure,I would love to.

Akash:It's the famous words of Mahatma Gandhi that goes like “Be the change you wish to see
in the world”

Meha:That's a great one Akash,to lead is not an easy task ,but our school headboy and school
head girl have proved themselves as substantial leaders.I proudly welcome Faadhil and Afrah
,the school pupil leaders to deliver their speech.

Akash:Thank you Faadhil and Afrah.Keep inspiring us with your great efforts.

Meha:With great honor I welcome our chief guest for the day Mr Sameer Muhammed to
illuminate us with a speech.

Thank you sir.That was truly inspiring.

Meha:
“Gratitude is not only the greatest virtue but the parent of all others.”

Marking the words ,I call upon Cyrus Of grade 12th to present a vote of thanks to all gathered
here.

Akash:Thank you Cyrus for your gratifying words.

Now I request everyone gathered here to rise for the school song and UAE national anthem.

Akash:Our Formal function has come to an end,I take this opportunity to thank each and every
one for taking out your valuable time to be here with us today.

Meha:As a token of our appreciation a small feast has been arranged ,please enjoy the
refreshments.On behalf of Credence Family I sincerely appreciate and thank you all once
again.It's me Meha and Akash signing off.
