6594. Socket and Spigot Push Fit System.

 Non-pressure Cast Iron Hubless (Double Spigot) Pipes as per IS 15905 equivalent of BSEN
877 / ISO 6594. Bracket Connector (with EPDM Rubber) Push Fit System.

APPLICATION: Gas Ventilation, Sewage, Soil, Wastewater, Rainwater Plumbing &

Drainage System for above and underground installation.

Material, Coatings & Linings:

 Graphite flake grey cast iron material FG150 as per IS 210

 Thermal zinc spray coating upto 130 g/m²
 Double layer epoxy paint of upto 240 μm - Colours as required e.g. Red, Black,
Brown, Grey
 Epoxy paint lining upto 240 μm - Colours as required e.g. Red, Black, Brown, Grey
 Optional coating of anti-corrosion as per requirement.

Technical Parameters:

 Tensile Strength 180MPa for Pipes & 150 MPa for Fittings (200 MPa for BSEN 877)
 Crushing Strength – 300 N/mm2 (350 N/mm2 for BSEN 877)
 Hardness 230 HBW (260 HBW for BSEN 877)
 Hydrostatic Test: At a pressure of 0.07 MPa
 Hammer Test: Clear ringing sound when struck with light hand held hammer
 Coating Test: At a temperature at 65° C for flow & 0° C for chip off
 Dimensional Check-up: conforming to tolerances specified in Standard specification

Pipe & Fitting Installation Procedure

Steps 1: Pull down one side of the coupling system to the end of the pipe or socket to fully seat.

Steps 2: Make sure that the coupling system is tight against the pipe end.

Steps 3: Ease the next pipe or fitting into the coupling.

Steps 4: Evenly tighten the bolts or screws to the recommended torque setting using a wrench or
power screw driver.
