1. Preparation

Exit all your anti-virus applications before installation, or some files might be erased by mistake
and the firmware might fail to run after installation.

2. Click V3_setup_V3.*.*.exe to proceed the

installation

Click V3_setup_V3.*.*.exe to install

Select installation language：

Next up：
Choose the installation directory, C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Amlogic\Aml_Burn_Tool\
V3 by default, you may change accordingly .

And Then：
Choose to Create a shortcut on your desktop, it is up to you to decide.

Click“安装”，it will install automatically


The prompt saying “ install drivers 安装驱动 ”will pop up，install driver by default , and
proceed to the next 。

3、Intall DNL Driver

DNL drivers will install by itself, you do not have to install it manually.

If you have installed any anti-virus or safeguard applications, you might get the following
reminders just choose to allow all the changes

DNL drivers installed successfully .

The tools and all the necessary drivers have been installed.
4、Run the tool

The tool version is V3 and it supports mainboards that equips V3 chipset only. The device
manager indicates Universal Serial Bus devices --> android_winusb， meaning that the tool
applies to V3 version.

V3 工具支持的烧录设备

When the device indicates that libusb-win32 Usb Devices --> WorldCup Device, meaning that the
tool applies to V2 version.

After the tool is installed , you will get a shortcut named Aml_Burn_Tool on your desktop :

Startup the tool：


Import USB Flash firmware

Note：If you run into this error like in the picture below, pls make sure that the file
aml_usb_flow.dll exists under the installtion directory of the tool. If it does , the error might be
cause by the lack of VC2015 Run-time libary in your PC.

The solution comes to that you will have to choose a firmware of a different run-tion library:

The run-time installation process takes about 1 hour and this will probably resolve the issue.
5、Install manualy

If you get a yellow exclamation mark inside your device manager like indicated in the
photo below, you will have to install the driver manually!

Install your tool into the designated directory, slick dpscat.exe to sign the Driver.

You might get the prompts below during the signature process, just allow all the operations
or changes
Install the 32 or 64bits accordingly

Or you can update the driver 更新驱动程序 under the device manager, right click to update
Opt for “ 浏 览 我 的 计 算 机 以 查 找 驱 动 程 序 软 件 ” browse my PC to search for the
driver ， selet C:\Users\pei.pei\AppData\Local\Amlogic\Aml_Burn_Tool\V3\Driver under the
installation directory ，update the driver，
Next step

Driver installed
Your device is recognized , you may start to flash
