Cuphead pattern

What you'll need -
US 8H/5mm hook
Worsted weight yarn in heathered grey, red, blue, white, and black
Scissors
Darning needle
Polyester fiberfill
White, black, and red felt
Hot glue gun and hot glue

Cuphead Head-
Chain 3 and sc 6 into the first chain
Don't join; work in a ring
2sc in each stitch (12)
2sc sc around (18)
2sc sc sc around (24)
2sc sc sc sc around (30)
2sc sc sc sc sc around (36)
Work in SC around for 7 rounds
Break yarn and pull through

Mugman head-
Chain 3 and sc 6 into the first chain
Don't join; work in a ring
2sc in each stitch (12)
2sc sc assume (18)
2sc sc sc around (24)
2sc sc sc sc around (30)
Work in sc around for 8 rounds
Break yarn and pull through

Headpiece-
Chain 3 and sc 6 into the first chain
Don't join; work in a ring
2sc in each stitch (12)
2sc sc around (18)
2sc sc sc around (24)
2sc sc sc sc around (30)
Break yarn and pull through, leaving a tail for sewing

Handle-
With grey, chain 3, and sc 6 into the first chain.
Don't join; work around
Sc around for about 4”
Slst last stitch. Break yarn and pull through, leaving a tail for sewing

Body-
Starting from the bottom, with red or blue, chain 3 and sc 6 into the first chain
Don't join; work in a ring
2sc in each stitch (12)
2sc sc around (18)
2sc sc sc around (24)
Work around for 3 rounds
2sc sc sc 3 times then sc to end (27)
Change to black
Sc tblo around
Sc around
Sc2tog sc 7 around (24)
Sc2tog sc 6 around (21)
S2tog sc 5 around (18)
Slst around
Break yarn and pull through, leaving a tail for sewing

Feet and Legs (Make 2)-


With red or blue, chain 5, skip the first 2 chains. 2sc, 2 sc, 2sc. Rotate your work and crochet
into the bottom of the foundation chain, 2sc, 2 sc, 2sc (12)
Don't join; work in a ring
Round 2 - sc, 2sc, 2 sc, 2sc, 2 sc, 2sc, 2 sc, 2sc, sc (16)
Round 3&4 - sc around
Round 5 - sc 3, sc2tog 4 times, sc 4 (12)
Round 6 - sc 3, sc2tog 3 times, sc 3 (9)
Stuff foot
Round 7 - chain 1, sc around tflo, slst last stitch. Break yarn and pull through.
With grey, sc 6 sts around tblo of round 6
Don't join; work in a ring
Work around for 6 rounds
Slst last stitch, break yarn and pull through, leaving a tail for sewing

Pant leg (Make 2)-


With red or blue, chain 3 and sc 4 into first chain
Don't join; work in a ring
2sc around (8)
2sc sc around (12)
Sc around
Sc around
Slst last stitch, break yarn and pull through

Hands and Arms (Make 2)-


With white, chain 3 and sc 6 into first chain
2sc around (12)
Sc for 3 rounds
Stuff
Dec around (6)
Chain 1, sc through flo around
Slst last stitch, break yarn and pull through

With black, sc 6 tblo


Work around for 8 rounds
Break yarn and pull through, leaving a tail for sewing

Fingers (make 8)-


With white, chain 6
Skip first stitch, Slst 5 stitches. Break yarn and pull through, leaving a tail for sewing

Repeat for a total of 4 fingers per hand.

Cuphead Straw -
For the bottom half of the straw:
With white, chain 2, sc 8 into the first chain
Don't join; work in a ring
Work in sc for 2 rounds
Change to red, work in sc for 4 rounds
Change to white, work in sc for 2 rounds
Slst last stitch. Break yarn and pull through, leaving a tail for sewing.

For the top half of the straw:


With white, chain 2, sc 8 into the first chain
Don't join; work in a ring
Work in sc for 2 rounds
Change to red, work in sc for 4 rounds
Change to white, work in sc for 2 rounds
Chain 1, sc into same stitch and the next 4 sts
Chain 1 to turn, dec, sc 1, dec (3 sts)
Chain 1 to turn, dec, slst last stitch
Break yarn and pull through, leaving a tail for sewing

Mugman straw -
With white, chain 2, sc 8
Don't join; work in a ring
Work in sc for 3 rounds
Change to blue, work in sc for 4 rounds
Change to white, work in sc for 2 rounds
Slst last stitch. Break yarn and pull through, leaving a tail for sewing
Noses-
With red, chain 2, sc 4
Don't join, work in a ring
Work one round of sc
Slst last stitch. Break yarn and pull through, leaving a tail for sewing

With blue, chain 2, sc 5


Don't join; work in a ring
2sc around (10)
Work 2 rounds of sc
Slst last stitch. Break yarn and pull through, leaving a tail for sewing

Finishing-
Head:
Stuff head and sew headpiece to the top of the head.

Cut out white felt for eyes (1 ¼”), black felt for pupils (¼”) and mouth (2”), and red for tongue (1
¼”). Hot glue to face. Sew nose in-between eyes.

Sew handle to side of the head.

Sew the top half of Cuphead's straw to the beginning of the bottom half. Sew end of the bottom
half to the left side of Cuphead's head.

Sew Mugman’s straw to the right side of the head.

Stuff the body, and sew it to the head.

Arms and Hands:


Sew arms to the body right below the head.

Sew three lines of black yarn to the back of the hands.

Sew 3 fingers and a thumb into each hand.

Legs:
Sew pant legs to the bottom of pants.

Sew legs into the opening of the pant legs.

Extra:
Weave in all loose ends.
And that's it! You're done!
