Date:12 july, 2022
Time: 10 am to 5 pm
Location : training hall

Training options
Provide a range of options for the immediate term and future. Include how coaching and mentoring
can be used along with formal training programs for employees in safe work practice.

Answer: This hands-on training includes actual live demonstrations of manual handling techniques in
the kitchen. The live demonstration is delivered to the team member at the workplace. After two hours
of instruction, the team will have learned about lifting techniques, posture for pushing or lifting large
objects, and other subjects. All employees are required to follow the manual handling guidelines and
the WSH policy, which will be provided to them.

General opinion on the outcomes of the training

Include information on:
 Staff adherence and compliance to the procedure
 How staff reacted during the training and if there is any need for additional training or changes
to procedures or training
 The effectiveness of the WHS practice – are current practices ensuring the health, safety and
security of all employees?
To help all workers participate to making the workplace a safe place to work, the training was
delivered in a motivational way. The staff members were eager to become familiar with the
rules and legislation, and they did adhere to the procedures. The instructor walks through
safe manual handling of the equipment. Some of the staff members spoke with the trainer
about their concerns over the ambiguity of the rules that help to make a training effective,
while others found it difficult to understand the issue. During this training, employees learned
how to posture their bodies before lifting, what to think about before handling objects, what to
avoid, and how to take safety precautions when using sophisticated machinery.

Feedback from staff who participated in the training

Summarise feedback that was provided during the debrief and any issues that may have been raised
about the training.
As per the workers' feedback, it was highly pertinent and interesting. Through example, the skill helps
employees comprehend the guidelines and practices for carrying out their jobs.

Recommended actions
Provide at least one future improvement to the current procedure you would like to make and your
reasons for this.
Each employee should receive training in manual handling, as well as observe others in the
workplace and provide them criticism. In order to reduce injuries or accidents, employees should also
participate in future training.
