NATIONAL MATHEMATICS OLYMPIAD CONTEST -2022-2023


Dear Parent,
Greetings!

We are pleased to introduce “All India Schools Mathematics Teachers Association”, AISMTA, a well-
knownacademic association with deep commitment to quality and excellence in the field of education. It is
also known for its devotion in creating interest of students towards Mathematics. Besides making the subject
interesting and enjoyable,it spots out the talent amongst the young and feed them to improve their knowledge
so as to find a place for them in the competitive world. It’s a pleasure to inform you about the “26th
NATIONAL MATHEMATICS OLYMPIAD CONTEST: 2022-23” organized by AISMTA from
standard 1st to the Secondary level. The students from all over India and from different parts of the world
are participating in this National Level Competition.
The students of Grade I to X can participate in this championship. Mathematics being an analytical subject
requires better understanding, hence, this event is organized to assess the analytical and problem solving
skills of the students. This will help the students to develop their problem solving and time management
skills by solving a variety of questions. The paper will be designed as per the Board's syllabus. The AISMTA
is of the opinion that the students appearing at these examinations will certainly get benefit at their final
examinations. It will also help the students to assess themselves before the final examination and gain
confidence.
PROCEDURE FOR CONDUCTING NATIONAL MATHEMATICS OLYMPIAD CONTEST-22-23
The Contest will be conducted at ten levels as mentioned below:
LEVEL CLASS
1. NURSERY I
2. PRE-PREP OLYMPIAD II
3. PREP OLYMPIAD III
4. PRE-PRELIMINARY OLYMPIAD IV
5. PRELIMINARY OLYMPIAD V
6. PRIMARY OLYMPIAD VI
7. FIRST OLYMPIAD VII
8. PRE-JUNIOR OLYMPIAD VIII
9. JUNIOR OLYMPIAD IX
10. INTERMEDIATE OLYMPIAD X
➢ REGISTRATION FEE: QR 20/-

➢ LAST DATE OF SUBMISSION-15th August 2022

➢ DATE & DURATION OF EXAMINATION: 22nd January 2023. The duration of examination
will be 1½ Hrs for Grade 1 to Grade 3 and 3 Hrs for grade 4 to grade10.
➢ MAX.MARKS: 100 and pass percentage will be 40%.
➢ MEDIUM: English.
➢ PATTERN OF THE PAPER: - For Grade 1-3 Objective type.
Grade 4-10 Subjective type.
➢ DECLARATION OF RESULT: Within a month.
➢ AWARDS OF CERTIFICATES, MEDALS & SHIELDS: All the successful candidates at the
contestwill be awarded certificates. Candidates obtaining 100% marks will be awarded a Shield.
Students securing 90% to 99% marks at the examination will be awarded a Gold Medal.
