X. Rationale:

In the efforts to preserve, conserve and protect Mother Nature, and

ultimately the earth, the school’s YES-O, SSG, SPG, and Advisers of
Graduating students came up with the idea of conducting a tree planting
activity. Tree planting is the most effective and relevant way to do it. With
tree planting events a small effort makes a huge difference in leaving an on-
going environmental legacy in life. As a result of participating in this activity,
participants can achieve a sense of satisfaction and accomplishment
knowing that they can made a positive difference.

With the aforementioned statements, the proponents are motivated to

conduct a three-hour tree planting with the theme “the greener, the better”
among graduating students, teachers, organizations of the school. This
activity is an environmental education project. By doing this, participants
will discover awareness on the importance of tree planting and establish a
connection to nature and while learning what they can contribute to save the
future. This activity is also our way of addressing disaster risk reduction and
mitigating the effects climate change.

XI. Terminal Objective:

To orient all school heads on data collection of basic education statistics and
encoding of learner’s profile in the LIS and BEIS.

XII. Enabling Objectives:

 To enhance students awareness in environmental conservation and
stability.
