POLICE PERSONNEL ASSISTANCE AND TRACKING SYSTEM USERS


MANUAL

I. WEB APPLICATION MANUAL


LOG IN FOR BOTH MAIN ADMIN AND POLICE ADMIN

Web Login Interface - This is where the Main admin and police admin will login.

The system requires internet because the real-time location and status of the

police user is necessary information. To access, go to https://ppats/login/index.html. Log

in to the provided username and password.


ADDING A POLICE ADMIN/USER ACCOUNT FOR MAIN ADMIN

Web Add Police User/Admin Interface - In this interface the Main Admin Could Add a

Police User/Admin.

The main admin will input the following; First Name, Last Name, Select the

Station assignment in the dropdown selection on clicking the “Station”, Age, Police

Address, Gender.

The main admin will assign the username and password by putting in the

username and password and it will select an Account type by either Police Admin or

Police User.
UPDATING THE POLICE ADMIN/USERS ACCOUNT FOR MAIN ADMIN

Web Update Police User/Admin Interface - In this interface the Main Admin Could

Update a Police User/Admin.

This is the Update Police User/Admin page where the main admin can update the

details of a particular police admin account or police user account. To achieve this, click

the Accounts button, select a particular account on the list and click the Edit button. The

main admin can update the following; First Name, Last Name, Station Assignment,

Police Address, Age and Gender. The main admin can also update the username,

password and account type upon the approval of the police admin for account update.

ACCOUNTS MANAGEMENT FOR MAIN ADMIN


Web Main Admin Manage Accounts Interface - This is the interface where the Main

Admin could manage the accounts

The main admin can manage the accounts in the home screen in the Accounts. It

can see the details of the police users and police admin. It can also add a police admin,

add a police user, edit their information, and delete their accounts. The main admin can

also view their current location by clicking the View Location button.
MONITORING THE POLICE USER (POLICE ADMIN’S INTERFACE)

Web Monitor Users for Police Admin- This is where the Police Admin could monitor the

users via Maps

The police admin can view the real-time monitoring on the Monitor page. It can

also see the status of the police user by clicking their pin-point. Upon clicking the pin-

points, the system will display a small preview box that contains the name of the police

user, station assignment, and its status.


ADDING A POLICE USER FOR POLICE ADMIN

Web Add Police User Interface - In this interface the Police Admin Could add a Police

User

The Police Admin can add a Police User account. To achieve this, the Police

Admin can input the following data of the Police User such as; First Name, Last Name,

Age, Station, Police Address, Gender and the Police Admin will assign its Username and

Password.
UPDATING THE POLICE USER’S ACCOUNT FOR POLICE ADMIN

Web Update Police User Interface - In this interface the Police Admin Could update a

Police User

The Police Admin can update the Police User’s account. To achieve this, the

Police Admin can edit the following data of the Police User such as; First Name, Last

Name, Age, Station, Police Address, Gender and the Police Admin can assign a new

password time to time.


MANAGING POLICE USER ACCOUNTS FOR POLICE ADMIN

Web Police Admin Manage Accounts Interface - This is the interface where the Police

Admin could manage the accounts

The Police Admin can manage the Police User’s account in the home screen in

the Accounts. It can also see the details of the Police Users. It can also add a police user,

edit their information and delete their accounts. The Police Admin can also view their

current location by clicking the View Location button.


II. MOBILE APPLICATION MANUAL

In order for the Police User to use the mobile application, the user must contact the

Police Admin to install the APK via ShareIt transfer. Once installed, the Police User must

have or turn on the following;

• Stable Internet Connection via mobile Wi-Fi/Mobile Data

• Turn on the Bluetooth and connect the Smartwatch to the smartphone(for linking

of Smartwatch)

• Turn on the Location (set it on high-accuracy)

• Open the PPATS Mobile App

LOGGING IN TO THE PPATS Mobile App

Mobile App Police User Login - This is the interface where the police user could login
The Police Admin will create the account for the Police User. Once the account

has been turned over to the Police User, it can log in to the system by logging in the

correct credentials.

REQUESTING BACK-UP IN MOBILE DEVICE

Mobile App Police User Request Back Up - This is the interface where the police user

could request back up


Upon logging in, the Police User will see this mobile interface which indicates a

big button with a REQUEST BACK-UP text and a log out button. To request back-up,

the Police User will double tap to the button to confirm the request and notify the Police

Admin and other Police User’s near the location of the Police User who requested the

back up.

Mobile App Police User End Back Up - This is the interface where the police user could

end back up

Upon requesting for Back Up, the Police User can again double tap the END

BACK UP Button to stop the notification to the Police Admin and nearby Police Users.
NOTIFICATION FOR BACK UP REQUEST

Mobile App Police User Receive Notification - This is the interface where the police user

could receive back and see the location of the backup sender

In this interface, the nearby Police User will receive a notification and it can view

the maps on where the request back up originated and who requested the backup.
SMARTWATCH APPLICATION MANUAL

In order for the Police User to use the smartwatch application, the user must contact

the Police Admin to install the APK via USB transfer. Once installed, the Police User

must have or turn on the following;

• Turn on the Bluetooth and connect the Smartwatch to the smartphone(for linking

of Smartwatch)

• Open the PPATS Smartwatch App

REQUEST BACK-UP IN SMARTWATCH

Smart Watch End Back Up- This is the interface where the police user could request back

up using the smart watch

In this smartwatch interface, the Police User can request a back up even in the

tightest situations. The Police User can double tap the REQUEST BACK UP button.
ENDING BACK-UP IN SMARTWATCH

Smart Watch End Back Up- This is the interface where the police user could end back up

using the smart watch

In this smartwatch interface, the Police User can end the back-up notifications.

The Police User can double tap the END BACK UP button. The Police User has an

option to also end the back-up signal in the smartphone or vice versa.
