Continuous load:
Derating factor for ambient temperature of appx 0.5% per deg C over 40 deg C 0.98

Rated continuous output current of selected converter at 40°C 585 A

Derated countinuous output current of selected converter at 45°C 570 A


(As per the ACS5000 cataloque)

As derated continuous output current of selected converter at 45 deg C (i.e. 570 A) is


greater than load (i.e. 560 A), the selected converter is suitable for rated load at 45 Deg C

110% of motor full load current (1.1 x Motor Rated Current) 616 A
Rated Overload output current of selected converter at 40°C 643.5 A
(1.1 x Converter Rated Current of 585 A)

The overload current of the selected converter at 40 deg C (i.e. 643.5 A) is


greater thab load(i.e.616A), hence the selected converter is suitable for overload condition.
