Basic Overview:
This document will explain the ranking structure of the Military Police, what the
jobs are for each battalion, and the criteria to get moved up to a higher battalion.

Section 1 - Battalion Jobs

❏ 1st Battalion Description (SGT - WO1)


The First Battalion is tasked with guarding MAJGEN+ and acting as a rapid defense force. They also
guard the gate.

❏ 2nd Battalion Description (CPL - WO1)


The Second Battalion is tasked with patrolling the interior of the base and FOB and arresting any unruly
soldiers/trespassers. The Second Battalion guards the gate when no one else is.

❏ 3rd Battalion Description (LCPL - WO1)


The Third Battalion is tasked with performing gate guard duties and they are the first defence against
raiders.

❏ 4th Battalion Description (PTEs)


The Fourth Battalion is the training battalion. Everyone is the Fourth Battalion is not allowed to patrol
alone or wear the MP beret/armband and they must complete the Military Police Training Course.

Section 2 - Staff Positions

❏ BN CO (LTCOL)
Battalion COs are responsible for their battalion and ensure that the soldiers are active. They are incharge
of hosting patrols and RTs.

❏ BN XO (MAJ)
Battalion XOs are tasked with helping their CO host and keep activity up.

❏ MP CO (BRIG)
The CO of MP is tasked with keeping activity up, monitoring battalion activity, and hiring new staff.

❏ MP XO (COL)
The XO of MP is to help the CO keep activity up, recruit, and hire new staff.

❏ Director (MAJGEN)
The Director of MP oversees everything and reports to HC.

Section 3 - Criteria for Promotion


❏ 4th BN - 3rd BN
To get promoted from 4th Battalion to the 3rd Battalion, you must complete MPTC. Upon completion,
you will be ranked LCPL and promoted to 3rd BN.
