UAL L3 Project 1 (Unit 1)
UAL L3 Project 1 (Unit 1)
The Brief:
The recordings must include at least one completed solo music recording,
and one group podcast recording. Groups will be given their own podcast
theme. Sub-sections of the group will work on specific topics within the
theme.
Task 2 – Present your work using a website template and evaluate the
process.
1. Audio recordings (one solo music recording no less than 2 min, and
one group podcast)
Research & Planning: Show links to all research for the podcast. Within your
group develop a plan with a timeline and set goals/targets.
Audio: Upload your individual music recording/s and the final group podcast.
Evaluation: Audio record a group evaluation of the process and upload it. If
you think not all areas of the process were covered, an additional written
evaluation of your own experience can be added.

1. Context
What were the aims of each task? Why do you think you were asked to undertake them? (An introduction to the project is required,
where you must make it clear what is expected of you).
2. Research
What research did you undertake? How was this used? (All your research, with referencing if applicable, should be presented. Each part
of the research should have clear indication as to how and where it was used, and how effective it was).
3. Practical Skills
What skills and knowledge did you demonstrate throughout the process? (This could take the form of a ‘how-to’ guide. Use diagrams
and easy to follow instructions on how you have used particular software and other recording techniques).
*Should access to resources become difficult, showing how you have worked towards an end result will validate the submission.
