Marcos (10th) - Jacinto & Serrano

Ferdinand Marcos Sr. was the 10th President of the Philippines, ruling from 1965 to 1986. He declared martial law in 1972, citing threats from communist and Muslim insurgencies. Poverty increased and the economy declined under his authoritarian regime, which was marked by corruption and human rights abuses. Marcos and his wife Imelda amassed a massive fortune through graft and embezzlement of state funds, estimated at $10 billion.
