DFS

1 INTRODUCTION
1.1 PRESENTATION
The DFS (Dibal Friendly Software) is a powerful tool that it will help you get the maximum
efficiency from your business. This new management software will allow you to communicate with
500 series and L series scales. The main features of the new software are its easy handling and a
new design that allows the user to be guided by intuition.
To install, read the file README.pdf provided on the installation CD. It is advisable that
you use the scale’s manual for consulting the meaning of certain parameters in more detail.

1.2 GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS


1.2.1 Requeriments for Optimal Performance
- Operative System: Windows XP
- Processor: INTEL DUAL CORE 2,93 GHZ
- RAM Memory: 2 GB RAM MEMORY.
- Capacity: 200 Mb Hard Disk.
- Resolution: 1280x1024

1.3 SOFTWARE INSTALATION


1) Install the DCS software by running the “setup.exe” file that you will find in the “INSTAL”
folder.
2) The installable program will guide you during the process.

3) First of all, install Framework 2.0.


4) Then, proceed to install MySQL 5.0, DFS and Manual. Clicking on “Install” button, these
programs will install successively.

5) When you’re installing DFS you can select the program DFS and/or the Database.

Before installing database a backup of the database is done in the folder


c:\BackupBD\backup_nameDB_yyyymmdd_n.sql
nameDB: database name
yyyy: year
mm: month
dd: day
n: incremental number that’s the number of the copy done in the day
During the database installation process, the following screen is shown:

All the options proposed by default on the screens must be accepted.

6) Finally, you can install DFS Manual, in English and/or Spanish.

If you install the manual in one language, but later you want to add or update the manual to a
second language, select the new language, but do not unselect the previous language if you want
to keep it.

2 PROGRAMME START
To start the program, you will have to double click on the file ‘DFS’ on the desktop.

The user and access password are specified in this section. For future applications, it is advisable
to select Remind Password, so that when the user enters the password, it appears automatically.

When you press the button accept all the fields will validated and if they are correct you will
access to the application, after accepting the license conditions, so that the user can set the
wanted parameters.
By default you will access to the DataBase and the port that are specified in the application
configuration file, if you wish to change this in order to access to another DataBase or from

another port, you have to press the button , and it will open the following window:

Here you may enter the IP of the server you want to access and through which port.

Pressing "This computer" will update the value of the server field by entering the word

"localhost". And pressing the button "Port: 3306" the port field is updated by assigning
the default port used by MySQL. Pressing the button accept will the configuration file will be
updated with the new parameters for connection to the DataBase. On the contrary, if you press

the button cancel the settings will not change.

3 APPLICATION
Every time you start the application will display the following window:

Auxiliary menu is used to move easily by the files used by the open menus. (Top)

4.1 DFS General


With this menu you can edit the DFS configuration, email alerts, keyboards, language and sales
deletion

4.1.1 DFS Configuration


In this section is possible to configure the way out of communications: Automatic or Manual.
Selecting automatic configuration, you return to the main menu screen after completing the
communication. In manual configuration, you return to the main menu after validating exit
communications .

4.1.2 Changing the database


This section allows you to select the database you wish to connect to. The data determining the
database you connect to are as follows:
Server: IP address of the PC where the DB you wish to connect to is located. Default value:
localHost
Port: The connection port to MySql. By default: 3306
Database: Database of the installed DFS. Default value: sys_datos_dfs

NB
- When connecting to a database, all the DFS applications connected to the database (DFS, DLD,
DGI, RGI) are connected to the new database.
- You can only connect to existing databases that correspond to the DFS. The program
automatically loads the databases installed in the server.
- When connecting to a database, it updates to the program version. This process is irreversible

4.1.3 Language
In this section you can select the language of the DFS, DLD and DGI programs.

4.1.4 Scheduling task
You can program the sequential execution of tasks from this section. This can be done either
manually by the user or so that the program automatically runs on the date or dates programmed.

Adding programmed task


Here you program the tasks that the user wishes to be automatically executed.

• Code: code of the task programmed.


• Name: name of the task programmed.
• Start date: date (day) of the start of the programmed task and time.
• Repetition: the user can decide which days the programmed task is repeated. The options
are: not to repeat, daily, from Monday to Friday, from Monday to Saturday, weekly, monthly.

• Actions: the possible actions that can be programmed for automatic execution are: send
the updates, end of day, initialization total load and receive sales .
• Scales: here is where you select the scales on which you wish to execute the programmed
tasks.

Manual programming
If, on the other hand, you need to carry out sequential actions immediately, just select the order of
the tasks in the Manual programming dropdown menu, select the scales and press “Execute
immediately”

4.1.5 Email alerts


In this section we can edit the email information such as: Email Data, Sending options,
Recipients.

4.1.5.1 Email data


In this section we edit the email information such as: STMP server, Port, User, Passwords,
Subject and Body.

SMTP server: Short for Simple Mail Transfer Protocol. (Email Server)
All Internet service provider offers to their customers an e-mail address managed by its SMTP, in
other words, anyone with an email has an email server.
The values that change depending on the email Server are:
 SSL (Secure Sockets Layer): Protocol Secure Socket Layer, is responsible for "encrypt" the
information. In some servers is required to use this setting.
 User and password: Depending on the server configuration is possible to be required the
user ID.

Load default values.


SMTP server: smtp.gmail.com
Port: 587
Secure connection/SSL: Enabled
User: dfs.sendmail
Password: sendmail

Note:
The values to be configured are the SMTP name and the port. The most SMTPs use
the port 25.

4.1.5.2 Sending options
In this section we select the options we want to send with such as: With each communication,
bring sales, send updates, end of day, initialization, send files, import.

4.1.5.3 Recipients
In this section we select the email addresses.

4.1.6 Keyboards
This section enables you to carry out the necessary operations for managing the
keyboards, that is, you can edit the keyboard to be assigned to the scale and then print the
keyboard template with the data that best suits your needs.

4.1.6.1 Adding keyboards

To add a keyboard press which is located on the upper part of the window. Then
the window below will display with all the data to be entered for adding a keyboard.

Enter the data of the new keyboard you want to add. The data to be entered are as follows:
• Code: Keyboard identification code. It will increase automatically. No two keyboards can
have the same code. Obligatory field.
• Name: Name of the new keyboard which is to be added. Obligatory field.

• Keyboard type: Predefined types of keyboards. Obligatory field. Use to access the
advanced search for keyboards. If you select a keyboard from the combo box, its image is
loaded on the panel on the right. This image is the template on which you paint the
articles and cashiers. In addition, it can be replaced with another image. The editor can
be opened to change it or it can be opened with another editor to change or remove it.
• Upper margin: Margin in mm. to be left on upper part before the keyboard.
• Lower margin: Margin in mm. to be left on lower part before the keyboard.
• Left margin: Margin in mm. to be left on the left hand side before the keyboard.
• Right margin: Margin in mm. to be left on the right hand side before the keyboard.
• Font key: Font, font style and size of the text that is written inside each key of the
keyboard.
• Font colour: Font colour of the text that is written inside each key of the keyboard.
• Text in PLU buttons: you can choose the text shown on the button. The possibilities are:
o Article code – Article name

o Direct key – Article name
o Direct key – logo
o Article name – logo
o Article name
o Direct key
o Logo
• Cashier name on: this option allows you to automatically paint the names of the cashiers
on the corresponding keys.
• Table of direct keys for preview: this option allows you to preview the template with
those selected in “Text in PLU buttons”.
Select “Data of articles” to view the original data of the article.
Select a direct table to view the data of the direct key table selected. By default it displays
the data of the articles created.

• Print button: it allows you to see what the template looks like with fields assigned
in “Text in PLU buttons” and the values assigned in “Table of direct keys for preview”

There are several options for printing the keyboard:


Printing this part of the keyboard may imply using A3 paper.


Printing this part of the keyboard will always fit on A4 paper


Printing this part of the keyboard will always fit into A4 paper.
When you have finished filling in all the fields, press the accept button to finish creating the new
conventional keyboard. The cancel button is pressed to close the window without saving any data.

4.1.6.2 Keyboard editor

This section enables you to edit the keyboard. To do so, press .The keyboard editor
allows you to modify the template with which you are going to work and change the colour of the
keyboard surfaces, by selecting the colour from the bucket in the box on the right or using the
colour selector and clicking on the part of the image from which you want to obtain the colour.
The editor also allows you to insert text and change the colour, font, size and position to suit your
needs.
In addition, it allows you to undo and redo up to 40 operations.

Editor keys:

it fills in the clicked surface with the previously selected colour.


It obtains the colour of the clicked image.
It inserts text.
It eliminates the selected label.

4.1.7 Sales deletion


This section allows you to delete the sales in the database manually or automatically.

Manual deletion:
- Between dates: Select two dates between which deletion will take place by pressing
“Delete”.
- Prior to: Enter the number of days prior to the current date after which the sales will be
deleted. Press Delete.

Automatic deletion: Tick the “Prior to” option to enable automatic deletion.
Enter the number of days prior to the current date after which the sales will
be deleted.
Enter the time at which automatic deletion will be run daily (provided that
DFS is being run). Press Accept to save the changes.

4.1.8 Licenses
With this menu you can manage Activation/Deactivation of DFS licenses.
There are three modules or sections whose use is subject to the activation of a license. The
modules are:

- Multishop.
- Customised list.
- DLD.

There is an initial trial period of 90 days, during which you are allowed access to all the modules.
At the end of this period, access to the modules is restricted.
To activate them, you will need to contact Dibal to apply for a license.

There are three types of license providing access to the different modules:
1. Complete: Access to the customised list and multishop
2. DLD: Access to DLD.
3. Complete + DLD: Access to all the modules, customised list, multishop
and DLD

Once the license code is requested, it must be copied into the “License Code” field and
Activate/Deactivate must be pressed.
Once the license is validated, the lower box will be updated and display the status of each of the
modules depending on the license activated.

The licenses are exclusive to a PC. If you wish to use the same license in another computer, you
must first remove it from the PC in which it is activated. To do so:
Enter the license again and press Activate/Deactivate, so that the modules associated with this
license are deactivated and the license is released and can be entered in another PC.

4.2 Label editor (DLD)


It allows you to access the receipt/label editor called DLD (Dibal Label Designer)

4.3 Import/Export
This menu groups all the functions for exporting and importing data.
BD Backups, scale registers to BD, import integration files and scale backups

4.3.1 Data base->Backup


It allows to do a backup of a data base. Export a DFS data base that we select to a .sql file. This
file will have a backup of data base to recover throw the menu “4.3.2 Restore”

• Server: it indicates the server IP address you wish to access or the local host-
• Port: it indicates the port on which you want to connect.
• Database: name of the database you wish to export.

Once all the data has been entered select the file to which the database will be exported by

pressing .

Finally press to export the database to the


previously created file.

4.3.2 Data base ->Restore

It allows to restore the DFS data base. Import the “.sql” data base backup file to the selected data
base

• Server: it indicates the server IP address you wish to access or the local host-
• Port: it indicates the port on which you want to connect.
• Database: name of the database you wish to import the .sql file to.

Once all the data has been entered, select the .sql file to be imported to the database by pressing

Example:
Imagine we want to do a backup of a Data Base (sys_datos_dfs).Firstly we have to export it to a
.sql file. To do this menu “4.3.1 Data base-> Backup”

If we want to work with the copy of sys_datos_dfs we need to import the .sql file to the new DB
called sys_datoscopy_dfs. To do this menu “4.3.2 Data base-> Restore

In this way, we can have saved backups of differents data bases, that can be recovered at any
time.

4.3.3 Data base->Import file to data base

It allows you to import log files with Dibal format, for example, scale back ups to a DFS database.
First of all, you must decide to which database you want to export the data of the files

• Server: IP address of the PC where the DB to which you want to connect is located.
Default value: localHost
• Port: The connection port to MySql. By default: 3306
• Database: The DFS databases are automatically loaded. Select the database you want
to connect to in order to import the data. You can also enter the name of the DB so that if
it does not exist it will be created with default data. Default value: sys_datos_dfs
Once you have entered the foregoing data, press to connect.

Data registers

This option allows you to import log files with Dibal format, for example files obtained from .bck
files of the scale, to the database to which you are connected.

First of all, choose the path where the file you want to import is located and the model of the scale
and select the data to be imported.

The records to be imported from the file are:

Articles: L2, L3, H3, AG, L2_C, AS, L5


Article texts: L4, H4, X4
Configuration: Z0, ZA, ZH, ZP
Cashiers: X5

A yyyyMMddhhmmss_datos.txt report will be generated in the Logs\FileABaseDatos_log

AD:
“Communication Registers.mdb” database contains all the registers with Dibal format. Contact
Dibal to obtain this database.

Sales register

This option allows you to import sale log files with Dibal format to the database to which you are
connected.

First of all, choose the path where the file you want to import is located and the store to which you
want to import it.

The records to be imported from the file are: HV, LY and LA

A yyyyMMddhhmmss_ventas.txt report will be generated in the Logs\FileABaseDatos_log


folder with information on the processed records, errors…

AD:
“Communication Registers.mdb” database contains all the registers with Dibal format. Contact
Dibal to obtain this database.

4.3.4 Scale-> Desing import (DGI)

DGI (General design integration) program. This program allows to design the format of the input
file to be imported.
For further information on the DGI/RGI program consult your manual

4.3.5 Scale-> Run import (RGI)

RGI (Run general integration) program. This program executes the active imports in DGI by
sending the content of the import files to the scales.

Note: When RGI is started, the DFS will automatically close.

For further information on the DGI/RGI program consult your manual.

4.3.6 Scale->Backup/Restore (LBS)


LBS (Load Backup System) program.
This program allows you to:

- Export all scale data to a flat log file with “*.bck” extension with Dibal format.
- Import all the scale’s flat log “*.bck” files with Dibal format.

4.4 Articles
In this section we can register, edit or delete an article. There is not articles maximum limit.

This option is very useful in order to register or add or remove rapidly the Articles with the basic
fields.
There is not article maximum limit. However, keep in mind the maximum limit allowed by each
scale, depending on your model.

Pressing we register or add the item. To edit the fields that appear we have to click with the
mouse on each field to modify.

To remove press , having selected what we want to delete, it will be removed from the
display when the information is sent to the scale (in the next communication), meanwhile it will
appear in red.

IMPORTANT:
◊ If you need help press on F4, it will appear a dropdown tab.
◊ The fields with help are: Type and Price.
◊ Dragging can be done, depending on the headers (Dragging the

4.7.1.2 Graphic display scale
You can add the graphic advertising display screens which can be added to the graphic advertising
groups. Each graphic display scale is capable of storing 10 screens, which will alternate depending on
the time assigned to each screen. To create groups of graphic advertising, See point 4.13.4.2 Graphic
advertising groups.

To add a new graphic advertising group:

4.7.5 Recipes
With this section, you can add, edit or remove recipes.
• Recipe on the receipt. Only one recipe can be printed on each receipt and it is the one
programmed in the receipt.
• Recipe on the label. Select fields 125, for the recipe title, and 126, for the recipe lines, in order to
print a recipe on a label. The recipe printed is that associated with the article in the recipe field.

In order to add a recipe, press .

The recipes are made up of 3 types of programmable fields:


1- Recipe title (the number of characters of the title will depend on the font type and de
magnification programmed. The maximum size is 50 characters.).
2- Recipe lines (Each recipe has 39 lines for the recipe text. The number of characters of the
title will depend on the font type and magnification programmed. The maximum size will be
50 characters.)
3- Recipe logo (A logo number from 1 to 200 can be programmed. These logo numbers will
correspond to the scale’s printing logos)
NOTE:
The scale can have up to 50 recipes.
In order to associate a recipe with an article, register the article and, in the article’s DATA 3 tab, the
previously created recipe will be assigned to it.

4.9.4 Barcode
The Bar code section is characterized by a pattern of varying parallel lines and numbers, which are
placed on consumer products. We can register a maximum of 10 Bar Code.
In this section you can create the barcodes and subsequently assign them to a section or article or
assign them as global.

Pressing on add appears the Bar code screen.

The total available space varies according to the type of EAN/CODE that is being programmed (Global,
relating to a section or an article).

The set of characters A enables upper case letters and numbers.
The set of characters B enables upper case letters, lower case letters and numbers.
The set of characters C only enables numbers and these must ALWAYS even. It is up to the user to
ensure that the set of characters C includes an EVEN number of characters or the format will be
incorrect.

Once created, they are assigned to the required location.


- Global: Menu Data(7)/programmable EANs

-9 texts + 1 EAN 128 which is 24 characters long
-8 texts + 1 EAN 128 which is 48 characters long
-7 texts + 1 EAN 128 which is 72 characters long
In the dropdown format EAN 128 options menu, enter the format. You see how the EAN
data is distributed among texts 7, 8 and 9 of the article.

If an EAN longer than is permitted for printing is entered, the program will shorten it without prior
notice.
The L does not have section EANs.

The structure of an EAN128 is as follows:


INICIO + FNC1+ IA→DATOS + IA→DATOS +..........
If there are no FCN1 characters, it will be considered a CODE 128 and there will be no detection of IAs.

To select the origin of the EAN-128, program the “EAN128 Format” setting ( Menu 3.6 .8 ) with one of
the following values:
- 0: The Global EAN will be printed.
- 1: the section EAN will be printed.
- 2: The article EAN will be printed.

If a Section EAN or an article EAN is selected and they are not programmed, the Global EAN will be
printed.
If the Global EAN is not programmed, nothing will be printed.

To print an EAN/CODE 128 you need to add the label’s field 54. In this way you can have an
EAN/CODE 128 and an EAN13 on the same label at the same time.

4.9.5 Loyalty points


In this section, loyalty points, we define the points that we give to the customer for their purchase. We
can only register a maximum of 1 loyalty point.

4.10 Macros
Use this section to define the scale’s macros.
A macro consists of a group of keystrokes of the scale’s keyboard. You can access a part of the scale
menu by pressing the menu key + the macro key.
A password can also be assigned to the key that has been assigned the macro in order to make it
private.

Press to display the macro programming screen.

Enter the key to which you want to assign a macro. Then simultaneously click on the series of keys you
want to save for the macro. If you wish, you can also enter a password.
- To simulate a prolonged keystroke, sustain the click until the load bar turns. Purple.
- To simulate the ‘delay’ function, sustain the click until the load bar turns twice. The ‘delay’ function
will wait the number of seconds resulting from dividing the key number by 10. Green.
- Depending on the model of scale, some scales have a limited number of keys to which macros can
be assigned as well as a limited number of macros (see the model’s scale manual).

Once the macro has been saved, select the scale or scales to which you want to send the macro by
pressing .
Note: it will be sent as the “number of the macro” the corresponding code of the macro.

4.11 Logos
In this section we register, edit or remove the logos. Logos can be formed by letters, marks, pictures...
that we associate with products and other items. We can edit a maximum of 99.

We can add 3 different types of logos:

4.13.1.1 Sections
This section enables you to create and manage the sections as well as assigning the articles and the
scales.
The main grid is “Sections”, so both articles and scales are added to this grid.

Sections: in this grid the data referring to the sections of the Texts (4) ->Sections menu are
displayed.
Use this menu to Add, Edit and Remove as in the Texts (4) -> Sections menu.
To create, modify or eliminate a section, see section 4.6.2.
Scales: in this grid the scales that can be assigned to the sections are displayed.
To assign the scale to the section, just select the scale and drag it to the section.
These must be previously configured, see section 5.2.2.
Articles: In this grid the data referring to the articles are displayed.
Click on any field of the article to modify any of its data.
To assign the articles to the section, just select them and drag them to the section.
An article can only belong to one section.
By default, when an article is added, it will always belong to the default section.
These must be created, see section 4.3.1.1, Articles.

To select the articles or scales you want to move to a section, grab the object in the grey area (in the left
border) and, without releasing the mouse, drag it to the object you want to select.

If you have selected the objects correctly, they will emerge from the blue colour as shown in this figure:

Once you have selected the object or objects to move just grab it inside the blue area and drag the
objects by pressing the right mouse button to the section to which you want to move the object.
If you want to move an object from the section to another grid just repeat this movement, be it from
section to articles or section to scales.

In this menu you can create direct key tables for the articles.
These tables allow you to send an article to the scale with a direct key other than the article’s original
one. To do so, just define the table and associate it to the scale.

scales.
“Cashier Group” is the main grid. Both cashiers and scales are added to this grid.
By default, when a cashier is added, it will always be associated with the default group.
The scales can have several cashier groups assigned to them. The name of the group of the cashiers to
which the scale belongs will be indicated.

Then you just associate the graphic advertising with any scale you want.

4.14 Lists
In the Lists point we can display the sales between certain dates. This section consists of the following
submenus: Ticket detail and custom list.
In order to obtain the sales in this list we must have configured, in the case of the 500 range and the L
series the register LY.
To do this, you have to configure the scale.
In the case of 500 Range and the L series scale, you have to go to, Configuration 500 Range and
Configuration L series in the point 3.1.1.5. PC ticket register, and select the parameter LY.

This section enables you to create different lists, save them and retrieve them when necessary.

Generate a graphic-> It uses the first 2 levels of addition to create the bars of the lists.

There are 6 different lists predefined each one grouped by different fields:
- Sales list per item
- Sales list per vendors

For visualizing a list press the button and later choose the one you want to use. If you choose a list
of the previous one, these can be modified, saved as a visual configuration and opened as a custom list.
NOTE: the removed lines are not taken into account in the fixed additions, they will only be taken into
account if you add the field “State of Line” and filter it to 1 -> Delete (Cancelled).

Creating a multi-store allows you to register several stores and scales per store.

Click on in order to create a new store. To edit the data of the new store, drop down
the Basic Data menu (if it is not already down). The name, image and design of the store can be edited.

5.2.3 Scale
By default the first time you start the programme you will have a scale registered.

To register a scale, press on the button . Before creating the scale we must know in which
shop we want to create it (if we have more than one created). For that purpose select the shop in which
is going to be created in the grid.
On the other hand, in order to select it we click on the created scale in the shop. When you select it you
can edit all the data of that scale in Scale’s configuration.

To delete select the scale you want to erase and then press .or Supr from the keyboard. And it
will appear the following message:

IMPORTANT:
◊ To obtain the maximum performance in the communication, it is necessary that the TX port of
each of the scale of the shop is DIFFERENT.

Name: Edit the name of the scale.

Master Address: Edit the address of the scale (number between 00 and 98).

IP Address: Edit the IP address. (100.100.100.100)

RX Port: Edit the RX Port of the scale. (3000)

◊ Inicialization total load: The header groups are sent.

NB:
The empty option exists in the configuration, macros and advertising screens. Select empty if you do not
want to send this field to the scale.

6 COMMUNICATION MENU
In this menu you can perform the operations necessary to set up communications. The screen in a pink
box is the menu of communications, will manage the following sections:

- Send the updates

- Receive sales

- End of day (Z)

- Inicialization total load

- Send Tx File

IMPORTANT:
◊ Remember in order to receive the sales, is necessary to configure the configuration
parameter of “day movement” to 1 or 2.
◊ In addition, to receive the sales, the parameter “PC sent label” for the 500 series configures
and for L series must be LY.
◊ With any type of communication, appears, at the bottom, a progress bar that shows the
number of records received in the case that the operation is "Collection of sales and the
records number are sent to the other operations.

6.2 Receive sales


It gives the order to receive sales, in order to receive information and the sales of the scale of our shop.
The process is as follows:
It connects to all selected scales and establishes the communication with the scales. Then, it stays
tuned while the scales are connected to the PC and download sales.
There is an option allowing the continuous collection of sales until the user cancels this operation. Click
on this option to activate it. To cancel the collection of sales, uncheck the same button.

6.4 Initialization total load


It is used to initialize the scales.
Firstly, all the data are deleted and then all the DFS data are sent to the scale.

6.5 TX Sent file


This option lets you send files with the. txt extension to the scale. The contents of these files must be
formed by records that follow Dibal protocol. That is, they are understandable by the scale.
For example, we use it to send the label formats that may have been generated by Dibal applications.

7 DFS GRIDS
All DFS grids have basically the same properties. It is important to be familiar with them as they will
enable us to make a more efficient use of the application.

7.1 DROP-DOWN MENU


To drop down the field grouping menu, just click on the right hand button of the mouse on the upper grid
as shown in the figure:

The drop down menu below will then display:

Ascending order: it places the objects in ascending order.


Descending order: it places the objects in descending order.
Group by this column: it groups the objects by the column selected.
Hide group by window: it hides the Group by window.
Remove this column: it removes the column clicked with the left mouse button.
Column selector: a menu drops down with the fields that can be added to the grid as a column. These
fields vary depending on the menu you are in.

In order to add a new column, just drag it to the upper part of the grid where you want to add it.

If you want to obtain the cashiers’ internal code, click on Internal Code and drag it.

Perfect adjustment: it adjusts the column width to the size of the data it contains.
Perfect adjustment (all the columns): it adjusts the column width uniformly.
Filter editor: it allows the user to create formulas for filtering fields.

7.2 Groupings
The grid allows you to drag each column to be grouped by this field. In addition, it allows you to cluster
groupings in order to define their display with greater detail.
To group in a structured way (clusters), click on the column and drag it upwards. The level of structuring
depends on your needs.
Example: grouping by Name and code

Once grouped, the grouped parameters, name and code are left and the rest of the parameters are to
be found in the bar. These can be modified.

7.3 UNGROUP
In order to ungroup, just drag the field from the grouping header where it is located to the grid column in
which you want to place it.

8 DFS DELETION
- Deletion of items: Those items associated with the article section are removed and the removal is
sent to the scales
- Deletion of cashiers: They are removed from the associated groups. The removal is not sent to
the scale
- Deletion of groups of cashiers: If a scale has been assigned this group, it allows you to assign
another group of cashiers to it to replace the one that is to be deleted.
- Configuration deletion: If a scale has been assigned this configuration, it allows you to assign it
other configurations.
- Alphanumeric advertising deletion: If a scale has been assigned this advertising, it allows you to
assign it other advertising to replace the one that is to be deleted.
- Deletion of graphic advertising screens: If a graphic advertising group has been assigned this
screen it will be directly disassociated from the group and will be deleted.
- Deletion of graphic advertising groups: If a scale has been assigned this group, it allows you to
assign it another group of graphic advertising to replace the one that is to be deleted.
- Section deletion: If a scale has been assigned this section it is disassociated from them and the
removal of the articles in this section is sent to the scales. If an article has been assigned this
section, it allows you to assign it other sections in order to replace the one that is to be deleted.
- Deletion of answer groups (traceability): A group of responses can only be deleted if it is not
being used.
- Deletion of classes (traceability): when a class is deleted, all the animals with this class are
deleted. If there are articles with this class, it allows you to assign other classes to replace the one
that is to be deleted or it allows you to leave the article class blank. In addition, the animal will be
removed from these articles as the class will have changed.
- Deletion of animals (traceability): If an article has been assigned this animal, it allows you to
assign it an animal of the same class in order to replace the one that is to be deleted.
- Deletion of recipes: If an article has been assigned this recipe, it allows you to assign it another
recipe in order to replace the one that is to be deleted.
- Deletion of receipt header groups: If a scale has been assigned this group, it allows you to
assign it another group of headers order to replace the one that is to be deleted.
- Deletion of VAT: If an article has been assigned this VAT, it allows you to assign it another VAT to
replace the one that is to be deleted.
- Tare deletion: it is deleted directly as it is not assigned anywhere.
- Currency deletion: it is deleted directly as it is not assigned anywhere.
- Barcode deletion: If an article or section has been assigned this barcode, it allows you to assign it
another barcode of the same type to replace the one that is to be deleted.
- Loyalty point deletion: If a configuration has been assigned these loyalty points, it will be
disassociated directly.
- Macro deletion: If a macro has been assigned a macro group, it is disassociated directly.
- Macro group deletion: If a scale has been assigned a macro group, it allows you to assign it
another macro group to replace the one that is to be deleted.
- Logo deletion: If an article, section or graphic advertising screen has been assigned a logo, it
allows you to assign it another logo to replace the one that is to be deleted.
- Direct key table deletion: If a scale has been assigned this key table, it allows you to assign it
another direct key table in order to replace the one that is to be deleted.
- Memory key table deletion: If a scale has been assigned this key table, it allows you to assign it
another memory key table to replace the one that is to be deleted.

10.1 Item or Article with beef-type traceability:
Here, we are going to define the traceability of the article, particularly belonging to a new beef-type
class. This class refers to our article, which may belongs to a certain class such as: beef, fish, fruit, etc.
Every time we have to enter an article in our Data Base, some fields are common to all the products.
Then, we can carry out closed lists, we mean that we define fixed lists (the features will be repeated
regularly).
Therefore, every time you repeat an item characteristic, we will have a list to which we can turn to. It
saves time and makes your work easier.

10.1.1 Traceability:
The first thing is to create the general questions and answers that will be possible to select in
order to the Classes and the Animals’ lot.

Additional Data: The main function of the additional data is the list of closed answers to
questions of traceability

Animal’s Lot: It refers to animals such as bovine or lots of traceability as fish, greengrocers...

Bar codes: characterized by a pattern of varying parallel lines and numbers

Code: Vendor identification code, articles, sections… It will automatically increase, it is not
possible to have two Articles of each type with the same code.

Currencies: Referred to a system of money in general use in a particular country.

EAN scanner: This parameter will set the bar code label. Each item will have a bar code itself

EAN13 Format: This parameter sets the ticket’s the bar code.

End of day (Z): Close Shop. It used to end of day at the shop and requests the accumulated
in the scales, so download all the sales that are in the scales, check the sales and the
accumulated.

Fee: Fixed Price or set to be applied.

Initialization total load: This is similar to send the updates with the difference having or not
modified any parameters EVERYTHING is sent

IP address: This is a numeric label that identifies an interface (communication element / PC


connection, scale...

Label Bar code: This indicates to the scale whether to issue bar code and in which cases
should be issued in the case of working in label mode

Logotype: Badge or emblem formed by letters, abbreviations, images ... peculiar to a


company, brand or product ...

Loyalty Points: Its function is to reward consumers’ loyalty.

N.R.P.: Fast Product Number.

Offers: It indicates whether or not the shop will offer special price.

Port: Port valid to connect.

Receive sales: The collection gives the sales order to receive information and sales for the
balance of our shop.

RX Port: Scale’s Reception Port.

Scale ID.: Scale Number Identification, it will be increasing automatically and there is not
possible to have two scales with the same ID number.

Sections: Sections are the different parts that can divide a shop depending on the different
products existing on it.

Send the updates: It is a Start of day. In this function, if there had been any change in any of
the parameters, only the modified data will be sent to the scale.

SMTP server: Short for Simple Mail Transfer Protocol server.

Tare: The function of this parameter is not other than discounting the weight of the product
that corresponds to the container or package that contains

Ticket Bar code: This indicates to the scale whether to issue bar code and in which cases
should be issued in the case of working in ticket mode

Traceability classes: Class is the definition of the traceability texts given to a product such
as: bovine, fish…

Traceability: Traceability is defined as those established procedures and self-sufficient that


allows you to know the historical, location and path of a product or batch of products along the
supply chain at any given time
