The memorandum instructs police units to conduct an inventory of seized drugs currently held by the Philippine National Police Forensic Group to determine the status of related cases, as this information will be used to make recommendations to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency for disposal of drugs in accordance with laws and regulations. Units are asked to validate not only drugs under their direct custody but also any drugs they previously submitted to the National Headquarters Forensic Group. The results of each unit's validation are to be submitted weekly for consolidation and reporting up the chain of command.

SUBJECT : Inventory on the Case Status of Seized Dangerous Drugs that


Remain Under the Custody of the PNP Forensic Group (PNP
FG)

1. References:
a. PNP Memorandum Circular No. 2021-186 entitled “Creation and
Activation of a PNP Committee on the Disposal of Seized Dangerous
Drugs (PNP CDSDD) dated November 17, 2021;

b. Memorandum from TDIDM dated June 9, 2022 with subject “Inventory


on the Case Status of Seized Dangerous Drugs that Remain Under the
Custody of the PNP Forensic Group (PNP FG)”; and

c. List of No Movement from NHQ Forensic Group.

2. This pertains to the conduct of inventory on the case status of


seized/recovered dangerous drugs that remain under the custody of the PNP
Forensic Group (FG) as basis of the recommendation to the PDEA for disposal
pursuant to the existing laws, rules, and regulations of the court.

3. In this regard, in addition to the number of ongoing validation of


seized/recovered drug cases under the custody of the RFU-NCR, you are advised to
include in your validation, the seized dangerous drugs that were sent by your
respective unit to NHQ Forensic Group for examination. Attached is the list of
dangerous drugs with no movement under the custody of NHQ Forensic Group.

4. Further, submit the results of your validation to RIDMD (Attn: C, CIMS)


every Monday using the attached format for consolidation prior to the submission to
Higher Headquarters.
