AFFIDAVIT AND UNDERTAKING

I, S/o/D/o
(adult) resident of offered
admission in the degree program of the International Islamic University,
Islamabad (hereinafter called IIUI) commencing from 1st day of September, 2022, do hereby
solemnly affirm and declare on oath as under: -

1. That during my stay in IIUI, I shall diligently apply myself to acquire and develop
the skills necessary for the practice and advancement of the field of study in which I am
enrolled.
2. That I shall participate fully and whole-heartedly in sports, games, and
extracurricular activities as would be compatible with my traits and aptitude.
3. That I understand that I shall maintain an attendance level of at least 75% for each
registered course during the semester and there would not be any relaxation on any ground
whatsoever.
4. That I shall maintain proper student conduct, discipline, Islamic norms/values,
orderly behavior and identity as a decent student of the University by wearing of the gown
and/or badge as may be prescribed by the University.
5. That I shall never use insolence or hot expression, fighting or physical assault,
scuffling or abusing, instigate/use of violence or threat of violence or pressure, and in any
disputes with others all means and methods shall only be logic, persuasion, petition,
appeal, revision, review and other legal and peaceful methods for the settlement of
differences and disputes.
6. That in my disputes, if any, with fellow students or teachers or employees of the
University, I shall accept the judgment of the authorities constituted by the University for
decision or settlement of the wrong doers.
7. That I accept all provisions of the statutes, regulations and rules in force in the
University or the statutes, regulations and rules as may hereafter be framed by the
appropriate authorities of the University.
8. That I shall abide by all the rules, regulations and instructions of the University in
force and issued from time to time. I further undertake that I will not indulge in any illegal,
immoral, unauthorized activity and political agitation. I pledge that at no stage I will take the
law in my hands.
9. I will obey all the instructions given to me by the teachers and officers of the
University and shall respect the honour and dignity of my fellow students, faculty members,
administrations and the University and its cause during the entire period of my association
with the University.
10. If at any time, I am reported to be involved in any subversive activity which is
derogatory to the rules, regulations or norms of the University and its cause, I shall be fully
responsible for my actions and my admission may be cancelled forthwith.
11. This undertaking is being submitted with the assurance that I will honour them
during the entire period of studies in this University.

2. Further, I undertake to refrain from: -


2.1 Doing anything which may cause injury or insult to IIUI, Head of the Institution,
teachers, officers and other staff of the institution;
2.2 Holding a gathering, or meeting, or taking out procession in any part of the
University campus other than areas specified for the purpose.
2.3 Indulging in any kind of unfair means, malpractice in examinations, and
coercion by any means;
2.4 Allowing or abetting the entry to the premises of the University of expelled
students, anti-social elements or other groups, whose presence on the campus could
cause conflict amongst the students;
2.5 Bringing into the campus, consuming, handle, possess or encouraging
consumption of alcoholic products, drugs and narcotics, and indulging in acts of
moral turpitude;
2.6 bringing or keeping any type of weapons within the University premises;
2.7 Using or occupying any room or part of any building of the institution without
lawful authority;
2.8 Damaging any University property, including building equipment, vehicles etc.
in any manner;
2.9 From all such acts and deeds as might bring disgrace and bad name to the
University;

It is verified that the contents of the above affidavit are true and correct to the best of my
knowledge and belief, and the same be binding on me.
