living organisms such as plants and animals.

SITUATION: Our country is one of the world’s top producers of geothermal power, owing to its
location along the Ring of Fire zone of Pacific volcanoes. Today Philippines has seven geothermal
fields which supply about 12% of the nation’s energy. Compared to electricity production using
natural gas, coal and hydropower the production of electricity from geothermal energy is much
cheaper.

SITUATION: El Nino and La Nina are naturally occurring climate patterns that have been occurring
for thousands of years. It will occur eventually and we cannot avoid it. Its effect can be felt and can
cause a lot of damage to us. Even in Aurora, we are not spared on the effect of the phenomenon.

GOAL: Identify the different types of constellations

ROLE: You are assigned to illustrate the different constellations in the sky

AUDIENCE: Learners and family members.

SITUATION: Constellations can help you sort the twinkling dots scattered .across the night sky,
the domain of the visible group of stars should begin in the Northern sky, the domain of the visible
group of stars which is also called as the north circumpolar constellations. There is a certain time of
the year where the constellations appear in the sky. Some of them appear every winter, some
during the spring, and summer, and some of them appear in the sky every autum.

PRODUCT: Make a model of different constellations in the sky. Choose 1(one) constellation that
appears in different times of the year, one from spring, winter, summer and fall. All you need is the
following materials:

4 pcs paper plate


Small stars
Glue/adhesive tape
String
Scissors
You will form the chosen constellation in each paper plate using your DIY small stars.
Connect each star using the string. Name the constellation and the particular season when they
appear in the sky.
