NOTE: The life vests are in the containers or under passenger/cabin attendan
t seats, on the rear of flight crew seats and in the identified stowage c
ompartments.

A. Check of the Life Vests and their Containers
(1) Do a check of the condition of the life vests and their containers as follows:
Make sure that there is no physical damage and/or holes on the packed li
(a) fe vests.
Make sure that there are no protrusions and sharp edges in the life vests
containers which could cause damage or leakage to the packed life vest
(b) s.
(2) Replace the damaged life vest container(s) as follows:
(a) Remove and discard the damaged life vest container(s).
(b) Install the new life vest container(s).
(3) Send the damaged life vest(s) to the workshop.

A. Close Access
Carefully put the serviceable/new life vests into the container of passenger/cabi
n attendant seats, on the rear of the flight crew seats and in the identified stow
(1) age compartments as follows:
(a) Make sure that the life vest is not damaged.
(b) Do not use force when you put the life vest into the container.
If you opened the stowage compartments, close the related stowage compartm
(2) ents.

B. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
(1) De-energize the ground service network
