V12 Cold Start

TQC-V12 – COLD START

This technical letter describes the tested procedure to perform a


Cold Start at TQC for Version V12.

How to do a “Cold Start”


1. Power Down the TQC

2. Break the seal & Set the cold start switch on EIO-board to ON

COLD START SWITCH

3. Power Up the TQC

4. When a cold start to calculator default is done, enter the PIN code.

5. Put in ‘Dispenser ID’.

6. Select ‘Volume unit’. 124578

7. Go to ‘Cold start setup’ and press ‘OK’.

8. Select ‘4 System Setup’

1. Check/set Date/Time Setup

2. Check/set Country Setup

4. Check/set I/O Configuration

The key-pad connected to the EIO: Button setup value can only be 5, 7 or 8.

5. Check/set Dispenser ID

9. Select ‘5 Communication’.

1. Check/set Communication

10. Select ‘6 EMT Setup’.

1. Check/set EMT setup (Enable EMT if Equipped)

11. Select ‘7 Meter Setup’.

1. Check/set all meters

12. Select ‘8 Product Setup’.

1. Check/set all products

13. Select ‘9 System Access’

1. Check/set Setup device

2. Check/set Whitelist update

14. After completing settings go out of the menu by selecting ‘C’. Now the TQC will perform all
settings and afterwards will show the results.

15. Check the results and press ‘C’.

16. Put the cold start switches back to the “Off” position.

17. The TQC will become operational.
