DIVISIONAL PRODUCTION OF SLM-BASED VIDEO LESSONS IN ALL LEARNING

AREAS BY DISTRICT

1. In support to the Department of Education’s goal of delivering the Most Essential

Learning Competencies (MELCs) in various platforms as part of the Basic Education
Development Plan (BEDP), this office, through the Curriculum Implementation Division
(CID) shall conduct a Divisional Production of SLM-Based Video Lessons in all
Learning Areas by District on July 27-30, 2022 for Quality Assurance of SLM-Based Video
Lessons in all Learning Areas, July 31-August 3, 2022 for Kinder and English Video Lesson
Production, August 7-10, 2022 for MTB/MLE, Science and ALIVE Video Lesson Production,
August 11-14 for Filipino and ESP Video Lesson Production, August 17-20, 2022 for Araling
Panlipunan and Mathematics Video Lesson Production, and August 21-24 for MAPEH and
EPP/TLE Video Lesson Production in Cagayan de Oro City.

2. The training aims to capacitate the participants in developing video lessons.

Specifically, participants are expected to:
2.1 acquire knowledge and skills in producing contextualized video lessons based
on the self-learning modules and MELCs in the subject;
2.2 create interactive and engaging video lessons designed to reinforce learners’
development of most essential learning competencies which are least mastered.

3. Participants, trainers, and division technical working group shall be entitled to service
credits in accordance with DepED Order No. 53, s. 2003 entitled Updated Guidelines on the
Grant of Vacation Service Credits to teachers, however, non-teaching personnel including
Management Staff shall be given with Compensatory Time-Off (CTO) per Civil Service
Commission (CSC) and Department of Budget and Management (DBM) Joint Circular No. 2,
s. 2004 on Non-Monetary Remuneration for Overtime Service Rendered, specific attention
on Section 5.

5. A registration fee for each PSDS, school head, ALIVE teacher, and school teacher
participant in the Video Lesson Production for the assigned learning area, amounting to
Six Thousand Pesos (6,000.00) charged to school MOOE/Madrasah Education Program
Support Funds (ME-PSF) shall defray the costs for meals, snacks, and accommodation
subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

6. Travelling and other incidental expenses for each PSDS, school head, ALIVE teacher,
and school teacher participant in the Video Lesson Production shall be charged against
school MOOE/ME-PSF and other local funds subject to the usual accounting and auditing
rules and regulations.

7. Expenses for meals and accommodation of CID Division Personnel including Public
Schools District Supervisors who are participants of Quality Assurance of SLM-Based Video
Lessons in All Learning Areas, and training materials and supplies shall be charged against
IPED Program Support Funds (IPED-PSF), while travelling and other incidental expenses
shall be charged against Division MOOE funds subject to the existing auditing and
accounting rules and regulations.

8. Wide dissemination of and compliance with this memorandum is enjoined.
