a) know the different basic dance steps in folk-based festival dance
b) execute the basic steps used in creating a folk-based festival dance
c) appreciate the different steps in festival dance

8. Mincing step- With heels raise, take as many
steps as desired
9. Shuffling step- With both feet flat on the floor,
take tiny slide steps
10. Chasing step- With one foot leading, take “Touch step sir”

Festival Dance routine in 5 minutes guided with the
steps I have demonstrated to you earlier. I will group
you into 4, each group will have to combine the steps
and create at-least 5 figures of 16 counts each. Your
performance will be guided with the following rubrics.

Execution-50%

Coordination-30%
Memory-20%

Total: 100%
