the service of mobility.
• Examples of mobile hardware can be smartphones, laptops, portable PCs, tablet PCs, Personal Digital
Assistants, etc.
EXAMPLES OF MOBILE HARDWARE
The earliest mobile computers, founders of today's laptop computers, were created in the
late 1970s and early 1980s, inspired by Alan Kay's Dynabook design from 1968. (Kay 1972).
Marty Cooper was the inventor of the first handheld cellular mobile phone.
