Organizational Transformation
Nonprofit organizations are critical to achieving mutual benefit. They do not seek profit but
are committed to specific causes. Some nonprofit and charitable organizations receive
contributions and service from individuals and other organizations to meet diverse human needs.
Every person is expected to have basic survival requirements met. Some nonprofit organizations
are recognized for providing financial assistance to the impoverished to educate, feed, house and

The underprivileged and those suffering from hunger have been provided with food thanks to
the efforts of nonprofit organizations. It is necessary, as a result, to formulate distinct plans that
would make it possible for organizations of this kind to realize their ultimate objective of helping
humanity. The less privileged members of the community will have the opportunity to enjoy life
to the fullest and be happy due to their actions. They will be able to engage in routine activities
such as going to school, dressing, and eating like other individuals in society. People in the
society who are suffering from a lack of access to food have been helped tremendously by
nonprofit groups like Feeding America (Parris & Peachey, 2013). They also react to food crises

accomplish its objectives. The assistance of managers is necessary for successfully executing the
best plan of action while also allowing for the modification of strategies that are not producing
the desired results (Park, 2017). Planning, organizing, leading, and controlling are important P-

the resources and human capital required to carry out their responsibilities. This framework is
used by organizations that aim to benefit the public good to locate partners who may support and
assist in achieving their goals. For example, the mission of Feeding America is to assist hunger

Plan of Action
Using the P-O-L-C framework in the management of organizational activities will make it
possible for the organization to devise distinct approaches to managing change. Both positive
and negative effects may result from organizational shifts and adjustments. Some individuals are
used to their routines and may find adjusting to new conditions challenging. However, to
effectively design and execute the P-O-L-C framework inside the company, it is necessary to
change some of the routines and build new methods of carrying out tasks. The organizational
goal is to ensure that they can provide food nationwide to serve hunger victims and low-income
families. For instance, during COVID-19, 98% of organizational food banks reported an increase
in those who needed support obtaining food. This indicates that the need for such assistance has
grown (Thompson, 2020). Donations and other forms of financial support were required to keep
up with the constantly rising demand. Approximately 67% of the food banks were short on food
and were looking for volunteers to assist them in meeting their needs.
The P-O-L-C structure is, therefore, vital to guarantee that the organization prepares for
potential crises in the future and puts into action methods to adapt to changes of this kind. As a
result, the organizations need a robust framework that will foster efficient planning,
coordination, and control to achieve the organization's objectives (Park, 2017). For the
organization to be successful in achieving its objective, it must work with its donors from all
over the world to devise efficient methods by which they may get resources, as well as make

whether or not an organization successfully achieves its objectives. Achieving the organization's
aims requires effective administration of its resources and distribution of its responsibilities
(Greiling et al., 2016). Therefore, the leaders of Feeding America need to devise strategies to
acquire funds with their partners and use the donations to accomplish their mission of ensuring
that no one, including children and parents, live with ongoing empty stomachs. This mission

Recommendations
For companies to successfully adopt the P-O-L-C structure, they need to make it a
communal duty and work together to accomplish the objectives they have set for themselves.
When it comes to putting the framework into action, leaders are an essential component. They
must accept the responsibility of managing the company across all four dimensions to go
forward. The fact that the Feeding America organization has leaders familiar with the complexity
of the organizational environment will make it easier for the organization to devise effective
strategies for dealing with the impending catastrophe. Leaders should be able to identify the
appropriate partners, donors, and resources needed to maintain organizational operations over
time to fulfill their responsibilities (Parris & Peachey, 2013). They need to make sure they can
devise strategies that will entice benefactors and business allies to contribute to the organization's
Employees and workers need to work towards achieving a certain goal. Having
employees who follow their authority in performing their work is essential. Employee discipline
is another factor that helps them focus on their tasks to increase innovation. Feeding America
experiences the issue of lack of inventory (Park, 2017). Lack of inventory hinders organizations
from implementing new ways of performance to increase productivity. The organization should
therefore ensure that the leaders use their skills and knowledge to help the other employees work
