The Learner....
Recognize practices or experiences in one’s family that show provision of education, guiding,
and formation of faith.
Analyze the challenges of the Filipino family in its provision of education, guidance in
decision-making, and formation of Christian faith as proclaimed in Amoris Laetitia (The Joy
of Family).
Explain that
a. aside from creation, parents have the responsibility to provide their children with proper
education, guidance in making decisions, and on forming their Christian faith
b. the rights and duties of the parents to educate their children is unique and their most
important duty based on the explanation of the 4th commandment
Celebrate the Holy Eucharist as a family.
ESSENTIAL QUESTION:
How can I improve on the education, guidance, decision-making, and faith formation that my
family has been giving me? How am I put into practice the different practices of the early church?

The most important mission of the family is to provide the children with proper education,
guiance, and faith formation. To reinforce this mission, it is important to take appropriate actions to
improve one’s practice in learning, making decisions, and living one’s faith.
