Use of so and such:

 to intensify an adjective or an adverb (=really).


Ann passed all her exams. She’s so intelligent!
Ann passed all her exams. She’s such an intelligent girl.

 to talk about the result.


Abby felt so nervous (that) she couldn’t sleep.
He had such a busy weekend (that) he’s gone to bed early.
