Criminal Procedure Syllabus
COURSE DESCRIPTION : The course introduces the provisions of the Rules of Court (Rule 110-127). The
discussion shows on how proceedings arise and terminate in courts. The course specifically discusses
the procedure in criminal cases. (3 units)
COURSE OBJECTIVES : It is expected that at the end of the course, the students are:
1. Cognizant of different special penal laws;
2. Understanding of the Philippine legal system and basic court processes;
3. Consider having a good grasp on criminal procedure.
