1. Discuss why certain products are made in the Philippines while others are
produced abroad.
- We Filipinos have several traditions that other cultures find unusual, but
which are essential to who we are. Some products, like as our basic necessities like
the dipper, wood sofa, pillows, and my wood study table, are created in the
Philippines since only Filipinos know how to utilize them and would struggle to
survive without them. On the other hand, due to contemporary technology, there are
also products created overseas. We are now impacted by modern technology, and
particularly by the fact that many of our gadgets are manufactured abroad, mainly
in Singapore and Japan. Additionally, my skincare products are manufactured
abroad, where they are more potent than those that are produced locally.

The nation-state is a sovereign polity with a defined border and a state that is
governed in the name of a group of people who identify as a country. The nation-
state unites two political tenets: national sovereignty, which acknowledges the right
of national communities to self-govern, and state sovereignty, which was first stated
in the Peace of Westphalia (1648), which recognizes the right of states to govern their
territories free from outside interference. The moral-philosophical idea of want
sovereignty, according to which states belong to their peoples, serves as the
foundation for national sovereignty. According to the latter idea, a unified people
must in some way consent in order for a state to legitimately rule itself. However,
this does not imply that all nation-states are democratic. In fact, in order to gain
control of a country's territory, many authoritarian leaders have pretended to rule in
the name of a sovereign state, both externally to other states and internally to the
people they are in charge of. In reality, in the worldwide system of nations, the
identities of vast populations frequently do not actually correlate with officially
delineated regions. International law has advanced to the point where the entire
population of states and their governments are recognized before sub-state entities.
Last but not least, sovereignty is a state characteristic that unites people and is both
an idea and a reality of state authority. It is one of the key ways a state's government
works to protect its citizens and its territory to the best of its ability.
