STCE-K is the compact solution by SELTA for the remote control and monitoring of small and
medium-sized power distribution and production plants, oil and gas pipelines and water networks.
STCE-K was conceived both for indoor and outdoor installation and its compact structure is
specifically suitable to the Utilities that have to manage a large number of peripheral units with
limited I/O, anyway requiring high-level performances: like the whole STCE equipment family by
SELTA, the K series does offer a wide range of functionalities, fully facing all remote control needs.
This reliable and safe remote control equipment manages the information exchange between the
plant and the other system devices, such as transducers, automatic control, protection, and recording
equipment, the local supervision systems.
STCE-K allows the single equipment for remote control communicating with the network
management centres in an integrated, fast, precise and flexible way, using IEC standard protocols.
It works with different data transmission networks and it connects all the interested centres.
Besides the traditional functionalities such as collection of both analog and digital data, alarms,
measures, and the release of commands, setting and adjustments, STCE-RMU is completed by several
main functions, like the SOE (Sequence of events), the automatic generation of sequences of
adjustment and command, the acquisition and the modification of the operating parameters of the
connected external equipment.
