 GREETING

Dear colleagues,

The National Congress of Indonesian Association of Clinical Pathology and Laboratory Medicine (IACPLAM) is
a routine activity in every three years for the evaluation of the association and the Annual Scientific Meeting
once a year. This activity aims to disseminate the latest knowledge to specialist doctors, general practitioners,
doctors participating in specialist medical education programs, scholars in related fields, as well as laboratory
owners/managers and analysts.

The 11th National Congress and 21st Annual Scientific Meeting of IACPLAM whose implementation was
entrusted to IACPLAM Makassar, will be held on 19-22 October 2022 with the theme "Interprofessional
Collaboration Towards Promotive, Preventive , Curative and Rehabilitative Services in Laboratory Medicine”.
This theme was chosen to enhance the role and performance of Clinical Pathology and Laboratory Medicine
Specialists in improving the health status of the Indonesian people.

Activities held include Plenary Lecture, Scientific Symposia, Industrial Symposia, Meet the Expert, Free Paper,
Workshop, National Examination, National Congress, and Cultural Night. In addition, various tourist
destinations and interesting culinary delights can be enjoyed.

We look forward to participation and look forward to the presence of colleagues at 11th National Congress
and 21st Annual Scientific Meeting of IACPLAM 2022 in Makassar.

 PURPOSE
Increase knowledge in the latest research developments in the field of Clinical Pathology and its use in
applications for service users.
As a means to increase professionalism in the field of Laboratory Medicine for Clinical Pathology
Specialists, Specialist Doctors from other disciplines, General Practitioners and professions engaged in
the health sector.
Disseminate and increase understanding of problems and problem solving related to Clinical Pathology
and Laboratory Medicine.

4. Free papers can be in the form of research or case reports and will be presented in the form of:
The case report will be presented in the form of a poster presentation.
Research will be presented in the form of an oral presentation or poster presentation. The form of
research presentation will be determined by the committee after abstract submission.
5. The presenter brings a complete paper in the form of a hardcopy in 3 (three) copies with a color soft cover
volume clear (front) and submitted to the committee 1 hour before the scheduled presentation.
6. Oral presentation time is 12 minutes, consisting of 7 minutes presentation and 5 minutes discussion.
7. Participants must attach a statement letter stamped that the paper has never been published in any
scientific journal

Gandasoebrata & Harjoeno Scientific Awards

1. Participants in the Gandasoebrata and Hardjoeno Scientific Awards categories will be determined by
committee.
2. The writing guidelines according to the full paper guideline format.
3. 1st - 3rd winners from each category will be published in IJCP. Publication at IJCP is not mandatory.

Abstract Guidelines
1. Abstract written in Indonesian and English, abstract at most 250 words, typed in Times New Roman, font
size 11, 1 space apart, A4 paper size.
2. The title is written entirely using Times New Roman capital letters, font size 14.
3. The research abstract contains: Title, Name of Researcher, Institution, Background and Objectives,
Methods, Research Results, Discussion, Conclusions, and Suggestions, and Keywords.
4. Abstract case report contains: Title, Name, Institution, Introduction, Case, Discussion, Conclusion and
Keywords.
5. Name your file as follows :
Abstract-P-Your Name or Abstract-LK-Your Name
P = Research; LK = Case Report
6. Abstracts are sent in softcopy of Word Document format to the following email address:

Full Paper Guidelines

1. The paper is written briefly and clearly in Indonesian based on the new improved spelling and general
guidelines for the formation of standard medical terms.
2. The paper is typed in Indonesian with Times New Roman font, font size 12, 1.5 spaced on A4 paper with
margins 4 cm from the left edge and 3 cm from the top, right and bottom edges.
3. Bibliography is arranged according to Vancouver Style
4. The number of pages is not more than 10 pages, including tables and figures.
5. The research paper contains: front cover, Indonesian abstract, English abstract, background, methods,
results, discussion, conclusions and suggestions, literature.
6. Case report paper contains: front cover, Indonesian abstract, English abstract, introduction, case,
discussion, conclusion and reference bibliography.
7. Name your file as follows:

Poster Guidelines
1. Research poster written in Indonesian or English contains Title, Author, Affiliation, Abstract, Introduction,
Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion and Reference (Title, Researcher Name, Background, Objectives,
Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusions, & Bibliography).
2. Case Report contains Title, Authors, Affiliation, Abstract, Introduction, Case Description, Discussion,
Conclusion and Reference (Title, Author Name, Institution, Introduction, Case, Discussion, Conclusion, and
Bibliography).
3. Poster Format: Poster JPEG with the following details:
a. Poster resolution 72-300 dpi
b. Minimum Poster Length/Height 1290 px
c. Size 120x90 cm
d. Portrait position
4. Font size is not less than 8 mm (font size 22), bigger is better if possible.
5. The proportion of figures and tables is at least 50% of the entire poster area.
6. Name your JPEG file as follows: Poster-Your Name
7. Posters in softcopy JPEG format are sent to the email address: [email protected] and through the
website pitkonaspdspatklin2022makassar.id no later than 10 October 2022 at 23.59 GMT+8
8. Poster will be displayed on the non stop monitor screen from 08.00-16.00 GMT+8, outside of the judging
hours
9. Judging will take place on 20-21 October 2022 starting at 13.00 GMT+8. The main author is required to
beside in poster monitor screens while the judging proccess. Poster will be presented in 10 minutes (7
minutes presentation and 3 minutes discussion)
