The maps show the alteration of West Park Secondary School since it was built in 1950 and
reconstructed in 1980 and 2010.

In general, the changes mostly take part in the west of the school area, whereas in the east remained.
The west side was reconstructed by demolishing residential and agricultural areas into school
amenities.

If it is compared from 1950 to 1980, the residential area had been demolished to be a place for the
parking area and science block, whereas the agricultural area had been changed into a sports field,
supporting the students to get healthier. Nevertheless, the school building, road, and playground
remained unchanged.

The number of students and vehicle drivers in that school had increased in thirty years. It is proven by
the enlargement of the parking area from 1980 to 2010, allowing the students, teachers, or visitors to
park their vehicles safely since it is not really close to the road. Therefore, the sports field had to be

The maps depict the alteration of Stokeford in eight decades, between 1930 and 2010.

Generally, this village had altered considerably since then as it only remained river, bridge, and post
office unchanged, with the additional residential area.
Initially, Stokeford was mostly filled with agricultural land, particularly in the northeast and southwest
areas. Those farmlands were watered by the Stoke River which flowed through the entire village,
whereas the separated land was connected by a bridge on the northern side. The residential area was
situated between the bridge and public places such as shops, post office, and elementary school
which were located at the central. On the same side as the school, there was a big house surrounded

shops stood. The elementary school had been refurbished, allowing more children from this village to
