ARTS

QUARTER 3 – MODULE 3

MELC: Discuss the Truism that Filipino ingenuity is distinct, exceptional,

and on a par with global standards.
PART I

A. Introduction:

We Filipinos have our own unique sense of design, which is distinct from other cultures in Southeast
Asia. This is evident in the edifices of churches around the city, the vivid prints on jeepneys, the style of our
clothing, and the one-of-a-kind way we produce handicrafts.
Filipinos are also among the most resourceful people; we can make beautiful artisan goods out of
recycled material or just a few items. This is why Filipino ingenuity and creativity should always be celebrated.
In this module, it discusses here the internationally acclaimed photographers, fashion designers, film
makers who contributed their works in the different media-based arts that made them recognized in their
chosen field in the Philippines and even internationally.
