ACKNOWLEGDEMENT

Alhamdulillah, finally I manage to complete my 10 weeks industrial training which is a pre-requisite for my degree graduation in Bachelor of Chemical-Gas Engineering. I am so blessed to Allah who gave me tremendous courage, strength and spirit while facing all the obstacles all this while. Firstly, I would like to thank my parents, Mr. Daud b Othman and Mrs. Fatimah bt Abdullah. I pray and wish both of you always in a good health and been cherished by Allah immortality, AMIN. I thank both of you for all your support since my first day here.

There is nothing more important except giving a special thank to my industrial trainings coordinator, Prof Dr. Zulkefli Bin Yaakob for all your advisement, concerning and supporting me to do my industrial training.

I am also indebted to ,Tok Peck Hiang who is my supervisor and to other staff at Aker Solutions, in Process department which are Mr.Zahid Abdul Samad(Lead Engineer), Mr. Azhar Ali(Senior Engineer), Mr. Shahrul(Draughter), Pn. Roy(Draughter),Mr. Ahadiyat(Senior Engineer), Mr. Hermaine Shah(Engineer), Miss Siti(Engineer), Noor Asimah(Engineer) and Mr. Dang Sung Chang(Engineer) for constantly guiding and encouraging me throughout this training. An appreciate thankful for giving me a professional advise, an experiences, morale support, information also during the period of training. Although a lot of problems occur in my way to finish this training, it just brings a good opportunity to me to learn the reality of workplace in the future.

ii Last but not least, my sincere thankful is also extends to my practical friends from University of Nottingham(KL), Mohd Rafek Abdul Wapat and others who have provided assistance at various occasions and difficulties. Their views and tips are useful indeed during this training session.

ABSTRACT

Practical training is essential to all students. The aim of this practical training is to give students hands-on experience, provide them with professional skills and expose them to the diverse work culture in chemical engineering. This is to ensure that they will become engineers who are efficient, responsible, knowledgeable and professional. After under-going industrial training, students are able to learn the scope of work at the organization and practice levels. They are able to apply the theories that they have learnt and to find solutions in solving real problems in the industry. In addition, students also can acquire knowledge about the organization and professionalism at work. This report is to give an account of all the activities that a student has done. It is based on the activities or work that the students have carried out during the training session.
