Activity 4 : Make a list of your top 10 favorite websites and identify the reasons for choosing them.
Indicate how often you visit those websites, why you visit them, and how these sites affect your daily
life.

1. Facebook - This website was chosen because of its significance in the


communication field I used Facebook every day to communicate with my friends,
family, and even my instructors nowadays to ask for academic clarifications and
questions. I visit this website because it allows me to connect with people I know
and, in some ways, improve bonding relationships with others through tags and
sharing.It also serves as a great source of entertainment for me during my free
time, thanks to the funny photo and video memes that are posted online.
Furthermore, this website allows me to share my photos, videos, articles, as well
as my thoughts and opinions in order to improve my social profile, personal
sharing, and relationship building with other users.

2. Instagram- This website is also one of my favorites due to the app layout,
graphics, and design. I also used it every day because it allows people to vividly
share their lives with their friends, family, and other users through photos and
videos. I visit this website because it is simple to use and teaches you how to edit
photos and style your own feed, which is visually appealing. Mobile snapshots
can be saved digitally, providing you with a visual story about it, and you can
always go back to those memories and reminisce about how you felt about it.
Furthermore, Instagram has somehow inspired me to work hard in life because
it's simply amazing to see how other users have been able to share and show their
success to others in a positive light.

3. Netflix- This is my all-time favorite movie streaming website because I enjoy


watching movies in my spare time. But I only use this when I don't have any
pending schoolwork to do, or maybe on weekends when I'm not so stuffed. I visit
this site primarily because I want to watch documentary films and movies that
appeal to my tastes, as well as for entertainment. Because we are not allowed to
go out, I was stuck at home all day when the quarantine began, and Netflix has
become my bread and butter since then. There are numerous documentary films
that I can recall that were outstanding, in addition to those highly recommended
films.

4. Google- My reason for selecting this website is obvious: Google can answer and
provide answers to all of my questions. Since I am currently enrolled in an online
class, I use it every day to access my schoolwork, particularly to attend my Google
classroom classes. This website is very important to me because it can help me a
lot in my educational or personal life to make my daily tasks more efficient and
hassle-free. In terms of education, Google can help me answer some of my
unfamiliar questions as well as boost my productivity to help me get through my
day. On the other hand, it has a significant impact on my personal life by
providing me with easy access to online news, entertainment, and information.

5. Youtube- This website was chosen because it provides educational and tutorial
videos for my academics as well as informative and entertaining videos for my
leisure time. I use this almost every day because I sometimes listen to my favorite
playlist here as well. Furthermore, YouTube has had a positive impact on my life
because it provides teaching materials that I can watch in order to absorb and
understand the lessons even more because it promotes easy online discussion
access. Furthermore, the topics introduced on hand encourage me to broaden my
learning curriculum and pique my interest in a specific topic. In terms of my
personal use, this website is beneficial because it allows me to watch tutorials
relevant to my interests while also providing me with entertainment.

6. Twitter - This website was chosen for inclusion in my lists because it functions
as a diary for me and other users such as my friends, family, and acquaintances. I
also use this on a daily basis because I enjoy reading other people's perspectives
on life and learning new things from them. What I like about it is its uniqueness
in terms of social engagement with others because on Twitter, you can post
anything and no one cares or is bothered by your views. It's also more
comfortable to rant on this website than on any other because, once again, it
functions as a freedom wall where everyone has the liberty to say whatever they
want and express who they are as a person of any kind.

7. Quizlet- I chose Quizlet because of its well-organized and effective flashcards,


reviewers, and practice quizzes for students to test their knowledge of the theme.
I use this website whenever I want to improve my understanding of a subject
lesson or whenever I'm reviewing and preparing for a quiz the next day. I visit
this website because it is one of the best and most useful study tools for revising
for an upcoming quiz or exam. Quizlet has provided me with total assistance in
my studies because it appears that I can almost learn effectively and efficiently
through the flashcards combined with the quiz provided by the topic's author,
and it has also influenced my motivation to learn because it is fun.

8. Spotify- This is my most favorite music stream because I've established and
created my all-time favorite playlists that I can always listen to. I always use this
after waking up in the morning and before going to bed because I've always been
a fan of listening to music because it gives me comfort while also allowing me to
sing and jive with the vibe of the song. Furthermore, I use Spotify because it
allows me to listen to and discover a new music release by an artist that I can
listen to all day. Furthermore, listening to my favorite songs on this website
makes my day complete because I am a fan of my favorite artists, and the
platform is like a cool product of innovation because you can easily access it.

9. Pinterest- was chosen for my list because it is a fantastic social network where I
can find inspirational drives, design ideas, motivational quotes, new hobbies,
recommendations, and much more. I use this almost every day because I am
always looking for new wallpaper designs or motivational quotes to brighten or
cheer my day. I visit this website because it usually has unique and incredible
photos that can catch your attention right away. Furthermore, Pinterest inspired
me to be resourceful and creative because of the designs and new trends that are
valuable and influential. It's also a great place to upload and download photos
that inspire other users.

10. Quora- This was the last one, but it was never the least important to me, and I
chose this website primarily because of the user's ability to share and grow their
knowledge by answering a specific question asked by someone. I feel like I used
this almost every day, perhaps whenever I had assignments, because I like how
other users bring other people together to help one another, resulting in well-
wrapped answers. I visit this website because I enjoy reading different points of
view and opinions, and it encourages us to share our knowledge for the benefit of
the rest of the world and to assist thousands of students who are having difficulty
finding answers. What I like about Quora is that it's a great place to ask questions
and get answers.
