they study at present and answer the 10 questions honestly as they can. The members will share it to the group.
After five minutes they will share it to the whole class.

2. Did you answer the question with honesty?
3. What have you discovered/realized as you reflect your study habit?
4. How do you study?
5. What are the effects of good study habit to a learner?
3. Abstraction
Reflecting continuously on your study habits is an important way of improving your
capacity to learn in school. The questions highlight the proven study habits employed by the most
successful and effective learners. Some student’s way of studying is through note taking. It helps
them remember and retain information from class discussions. They go beyond what is written on
the board or projected on the screen. They have already developed shortcuts to make note taking
faster for them. In reading and studying, picking a place that is conducive for learning is of primary
importance. It is also effective if you do advanced reading before your teacher tackles lessons to
prepare yourself for the class discussion.
Highlighting notes help the learner clarify some confusing aspects of lesson and remind
himself/herself of certain concepts and ideas that are related to the lesson. In order to prevent
cramming for the examination, a successful student ensures that he/she reviews the lesson as
soon as it is finished. When it comes school workloads, it is better if students know how manage
his/her time. Creating a checklist is a great idea so that he/she knows the most pressing task and
those which could be accomplished at a later date.
These are just some of the effective study habits utilized by most effective students. By
following these, one can become an accomplished learner and take advantage of the opportunity
to have an education.
4. Application
As a senior high school student experiencing heavy loads of school
work/projects/assignments/requirements/examination etc., list all the things that you need to do for this
month. Create a simple and effective plan to accomplish the tasks successfully.
IV. Evaluation
Answer the following questions briefly. Write your answer in one whole sheet of paper
1. How should a learner study?
2. How will you improve your study habit?
3. How will you encourage those students especially senior high school students to practice good and
effective study habit?
V. Agreement
