ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT ON ENGAGEMENT OF HOME

The Ataynan ES Parents have chosen the Modular Print as Mode of Learning. We have
arranged their schedule in distributing and retrieving of SLM by Grade Level with different time.
Parents are also cooperative in getting modules for their children. We also see their support to
their children’s education by their time and effort in going to school. Of course, we also prepared
some health guidelines before and after they get the modules. Parents are supportive and more
prepared this year than last year.

We discussed to the parents the implementation of Brigada Pagbasa during our Brigada
Eskwela Orientation. It was participated by few members of the stakeholders because we limited
the number of participants due to pandemic time. But we were able to pass on the information to
some parents thru “group chat” of every grade level.

We have volunteers who have been of great help in supporting the call of continuing
education amidst the pandemic. They gave their time in helping some of our learners ( especially
the primary) to read. However, those learners at their neighborhood only, because of the fear of
having possible virus. So, we considered those things before we decided to have implemented the
Brigada Pagbasa sa Brigada Eskwela. The Ataynan ES have this program, “Ading ko/ Anak ko/
Kaabay ko, Pabasaen ko”. It played a major part for our learners’ journey toward a better
education if they are given support and time to develop in them the habit of reading.

Parents and some family members were encouraged to participate in that so called
Brigada Pagbasa. We monitored them, asking them (parents) if they religiously commit
themselves in this activity. We are thankful that even we do not achieve 100 percent level of
mastery or achievement, at least little by little, it will become a routine for parents or kuyas , ates,
titos, titas , to have time spend in teaching their children to read. Parents prepared their home
learning space in every household for their pupils. These were really a great help for the studies of
the pupils.
