Objectives a. To promote protection on mental health of the
students.

Activity Proper MENTAL HEALTH AND PSYCHOSOCIAL
SUPPORT

Our mental health includes all aspects of our


physical, psychological, emotional, and social
wellbeing. It affects how we feel, think, and
behave. It also affects our decision-making,
interpersonal interactions, and stress
management. At every stage of life, including
childhood, adolescence, and maturity, mental
health is essential.

Asuncion Lee Integrated School held a training to


students about mental health and psychosocial
support highlighting the DepEd Memorandum No.
072, series of 2021, promoting protection of
Meeting Proper mental health of all students and teacher.
(Continuation)
The training started exactly 12:30pm, Ms.
Menzi G. Pineda the adviser of 8-Limitless started
the program by asking the students “How are
you?” then the teacher ask the students to close
their eyes and think of the time they felt different
emotions at the same time and in a piece of paper
students will draw their emotions in a form of
emoji.
In the second activity students were divided
into four groups where they will play charades,
students where ask to pick one scenario and act it
in front of the class the remaining group will
guess what is being describe.
Then in the last activity students where ask to
collaborate with each other and find a solution to
a certain problem in a form of dramatization.
Before the training ends the teacher ask the
students what are the key words that may
represent their feelings, as a teacher it I important
to assess our student’s mental health supporting
them and making them feel comfortable in our
class. Normalizing expressions of their feeling and
protecting their mental health will help them
know more themselves.
