Project Title: Personality Prediction System

Introduction:

Predicting personality by analyzing the behaviour of the person is an old technique. This
manual method of personality prediction required a lot of time and resources. Data mining
techniques are therefore used to study and analyze data and then identify any hidden patterns
or information from a large data set. The project is based on identifying the personality of an
individual using machine learning algorithms and The Big Five Personality Model. The
personality of a human plays a major role in his personal and professional life.

Objective of the Project:

 The objective of this project is to analyze and classify personalities of a given set of people
or an individual using advanced data mining concepts.

Problem Statement:

 Now a days personality assessment has become the most used test to hire many employees.

 Developing a software which will be helpful in identifying the personality of the person with
the help of answers given by the user.
Methodology:

 Different algorithms like Big Five Personality Model, Logistic regression, Decision Tree
and Support Vector Machine could be used.

 By identifying the past data and their patterns it is easy to identify the personality by
applying new techniques.

Results / Conclusion

 Personality of the user with the average of each personality trait is the result of this system.

 Personality Prediction System will evaluate the overall personality of the users and will be
useful for organizations for recruiting.

 Users could themselves get to know their own personality in the system. They will get to
know where they lack and what all personality traits they have to develop.
