a. Business - empowers people to share knowledge and advice instantaneously and set up an
online shop or website at a low cost, dramatically lowering the barriers to starting a business.

b. Job - Employment fulfils a number of important roles for human wellbeing, such as time
structure, social contact, a sense of purpose, a valued social position and an opportunity for skill
use

c. Health - Health risks associated with the digital transformations include mental health
problems associated with the extreme use of digital technologies, especially among children and
teenagers and the crowding out of other activities such as physical exercise.

d. Lifestyle - Access to food and healthcare, socializing and productivity, as well as the
effectiveness and safety of transportation. Because of the power of the internet, it is now easier
than ever to exchange ideas and resources and to create worldwide communities.

forms of media material. One of the most crucial elements affecting entertainment and leisure
time is this.

f. Education - Changing the way of the education delivery system in the world by enhancing
access to information for all. Also ensures effective and inclusive education.

2. Differentiate Technological Determinism and Social Constructivism. Elaborate and give

concrete examples.
Technological Determinism, this is how technology affects individuals. the idea that
technology will affect society for better or worse depending on the principles, good or bad, it
embodies.  is the idea that technology shapes social change. It determines our future. The
example of technological determinism would be the development of suburban America was
facilitated by the discovery of the car. The initial models were exclusive to the elite and
academics, having no impact on the common populace. However, as they spread, the
government was forced to intervene, build and extend roads, and enact licensing regulations,
which had a long-lasting impact on the community and environment.
While the Social constructivism it claims that rather than driving societal advancement,
technology evolves as a result of social, cultural, or economic causes. It stands in stark contrast
to technical determinism. The contemporary use of the Internet is a prime illustration of social
constructionism. It was later modified by software programmers after being limited to military
uses. Today, Skype is used for a wide variety of reasons, including personal conversing,
government surveillance of its residents, business promotion of services to consumers, and even
unethical uses like bank account hacking. This demonstrates how technological use changes
depending on demand.

3. Describe the process of technological change. How technological evolution takes place?
The process of growth of technical knowledge can be divided into following stages:
 Formulation of scientific principles
 Application of these principles to give technical problems
 Development of technical inventions to the point of commercial exploitation.
The development of science represents the initial step. the second is the application of this
information utilizing knowledge for certain practical goals, and the third commercialization of an
innovation, also known as innovation. This is very important to the process of development. The
development of new technical knowledge can be defined as the growth of the new technique that
can produce goods and services at lesser cost of production. One item that possesses these
features is the telephone. A technical shift has occurred. It has gone through a lot of several
modifications throughout the years that have increased its efficiency.
